Voting for Adam on that poll whenever I can. These things don't mean much but it's a matter of fan support.

Just checked yesterday's thread. Not sure why Adam was trending yesterday. ?????
In response to LindaG23's commment about Adam early song release choices, I have to say that WWFM is nowhere near one of my favorite Adam songs. It's tends to plod along to me. Not very exciting. But many fans love it. I agree that Shady should have been a single. That song really MOVES. It's sexy and dancey and I love it. When he does the Shady/Fever/Lay Me Down trio, it's a real highlight for me. I can't figure out what the label bosses are thinking when they choose the singles. I think Adam has missed some great opportunities by not being able to put out the right songs. Not always his fault, of course.
Adam is deep into his career now. The aim is to sustain and remain. It's not easy. He's never been very mainstream to begin with. We loyal fans love him no matter what. Hope that new projects will keep his presence strong.

Looks like Adam had a very fun deck party. Both dogs, too! And that was Danielle, right?
I want to post now on yesterday's last thread about pop stars fading quickly. I used to think that it was a drawback that Adam was a older contestant on Idol. And maybe that's true. But now I think maybe it was a plus. If he'd been in his early twenties, maybe he'd really be "gone" by now. Who knows. But he has diversified into other realms of show business, gotten involved in social causes and charities, and keeps himself out there in lots of ways. So, with luck, his own music will continue to heard, but he'll be visible and working for years to come. Hope so!
And Oliver looks very cute.

That was a very good interview for Adam. Well balanced and covered his solo and QAL career. I liked it when the interviewer set Adam up with praise for his contribution to his community. And it was wonderful to hear Adam accept it. And not use his time to promote another who neither needed the promotion and who never gives credit or acknowledgement to anyone else for helping with the advancement. I thought it was a very good interview, too. The guy was full of praise but he kept the interview on track and covered a lot of ground. Adam was his amazingly charming self and gave us a bunch of his little laughs. And I agree, lurleene. Adam accepted the praise graciously and go off on a tangent about other people's contributions. He deserves the compliments himself! Lovely interview. Can't wait for these shows to start!

That would be so great if QAL were to perform at the Queen's Jubilee. That would be another honor and accomplishment for Adam. On a different note, they have had a lot of Idols on to mentor this season but the ones with less star power were lumped together on one show. They had very little screen time. But now they are bringing on the more accomplished ones to have their own mentoring segments. Gabby will have one this season like Adam had for Elvis and Queen Nights and Carrie had for Country night on past seasons. They are also going to have alums duet together on a show one night (Cook/Kris, Jordin/Ruben, Scotty/Lauren Alina). Would not be surprised if Carrie is on at some point with a performance slot but not a duet with a group of other alums. She is a star and their star's get to shine with prominent placements. I have no doubt that if Adam had new music, he would be on to mentor a segment of his own and also get a performance slot of his own. Kelly will not be on cause she is contracted to NBC for The Voice and her talk show. Idol is ancient history to me, but when Adam is on in some capacity, I watch. Seems like a lot of Idol alums are getting their little moments to perform or mentor. It would be nice if Adam got to do it, too. There was a period of time when he appeared on the show every year in some way. If he is on this year (and I doubt it), he should get his own spot.

Such exciting news that QAL just MIGHT be performing at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee! Brian sure made it sound like it is likely to be true! HOPE SO! I listened to that podcast and I have to admire Brian for having a daily exercise regimen that keeps him healthy and feeling good. He sure had a close call last year.
Congratulations to Darren Criss and his wife on the birth of their new baby! Nice of Adam to send his string of hearts.

Adam says that his next album will be music from the new musical. We all hope that the musical comes to fruition and will become a reality. But even if it's not, will he do a solo tour with that music? I'm a bit confused about that. If the musical does become a reality, guess he would perform the songs live somehow, like any other solo tour. It's still along way off, but I hope we get more info about it before too long.
You're right, lurleene, Adam goes get his share of US TV time when he has a new album coming out. It's been SOOOOO long, though. Velvet was a victim of COVID and its promotion got all goofed up. I know Adam has done US TV over the past three years. Just seems so spotty to me, somehow. (BTW, I think his Ratatouille role was magnificent.) I'm just greedy for more.

I don't know Karamo, either. Maybe he'll have Adam on his show as a guest. I don't watch any of the daytime talk shows unless Adam happens to be a guest, which is far too seldom. I wonder if JHud will have him on because they are both Idol alums. Probably. I was never drawn to JHud, even as a singer, but she sure got a TV show of her own. Some of these shows do not last very long. Kelly has some extra cred as the first Idol winner, so there's that. Adam is always a great guest on any talk show.
I think the talk shows in the UK and Europe are far more entertaining. They are riskier and edgier and just plain more fun. Adam has done a lot of them so it's easy to tell the difference between those shows and their US counterparts.

Yes! Adam was absolutely magnificent at the Oscars onstage and off. Don't know who that other guy is in the photo.
