It has been a very slow day here so I thought I share something with you guys... Today I noticed an article (on an Israeli website, ynet.co.il) about the prices of the QAL performance in Israel. It states that the prices for the Golden ring have increased by like 40$ (from ~167$ to ~207$). The article states that additional tickets were released (doesn't specified by whom) and hence the increased value. Then they say that tickets left for the show is limited, but didn't specified whether just the Golden ring tickets or for the whole show. I went to the website that sells tickets and just the Golden Ring price was increased. The Tribune (seated VIP) tickets are sold out (but they are not a lot of seated placed to begin with).
Of course the article talks about angry people that saw this increase, so I thought of asking- does this thing happens often, increased prices?
And personally I don't know how it bows for the selling of the show, hopefully it means it’s selling good, because I wasn't sure it will, but it seems to be going fine, crossing my fingers for a sold-out show, or close to sold-out. The advertising has been crazy in the beginning and I still see a lot of commercials on-line and on TV. It is a hard selling place for concerts, it is the only place that can hold 50K people in the Tel-Aviv area but everyone here knows that unless you pay for Golden Ring most chances you'll only see the screens, if you're lucky and/or tall (I'm not) and/or have all day to camp out (I will never do it, not even for Adam). After a bad experience I had last year when Robbie Williams came I told myself I will only go to Park Hayrkon if I want to pay for the Golden Ring, and frankly not a lot of people that come here I will pay this much for, but for this concert it was a no-brainier :-)
