I must say I feel sheepish right now..πΆ Bad Israeli girl..π The actual meaning of the word I get, but we really usually use it as more "congratulation" than anything else! I wonder how long Adam is going to be in Israel. The next QAL show is only inΒ September 17. I hope he had a chance to explore Israel. It's funny he went to Lima Lima in Tel Aviv. I know that place. I've been to many gay parties there.Β My guess is that today he'll be flying, if he hasn't already.. I'm happy that he stayed here a little longer, he seems like he enjoyed being here! π All his instagram photos! And his facination with MazalTov.. don't get but it's cute!

Translation to the entetainment news from tonight: video! bidur.nana10.co.il/Article/?ArticleID=1209570(if there's a large ad covering everything, after 3 seconds you'll see the word ΧΧΧ on the upper left corner, with an arrow, so press on it and the ad will go away) What did they do the afterwards, after they made tens of thousands of people dance, and stuck half a million others in traffic jams: First of all, to everyone who saw him like THAT on stage and asked themselves "is it possible that Queen's frontman has green hair?" β yes, and these are the pictures from the hotel in the hours before the show. Photographer Itzik Biran was asked to help Adam with photos from all angles, to choose what would look best from the audience's direction. A few hours before that, Adam still dyed his hair at a local hair dresser. After the show Lambert insisted on going out only to a gay club in Tel Aviv. He ended up in a gay line in the Lima Lima club in south Tel Aviv, with the waitresses who served him the night before in a restaurant and received, as we told you yesterday, invitations to the golden ring and tags for unusual visit back stage. Lambert was the star of the party and took pictures only with people close to the owners of the club. To remind you, Lambert had asked from the stage to find him love here in Israel, at least for the night. So did he find it? There are conflicting version: on one hand, the waitresses got back from the night out at the club and had dinner with him until 4 am in the hotel in Herzliya; on the other hand, people close to the production swear that Lambert finished the night not at the hotel, but at a local guy's place. Brian May, who shed some sweat on stage, went with his agent and personal manager to chill a little through some night dipping in the sea, in Herzliya beach by the hotel. He spend the morning in the area having a long breakfast. At noon time they lifted off, except for Adam who expanded his stay. At noon he went to Jerusalem to see the Western Wall and the Old City, and wanted to go also to the show of the EDM band Major Lazer tonight in Rishon LeZion Amphitheatre, this time only as a spectator. This makes me happy that he stayed here a little longer and got to have fun after the show and see the wailing wall today! Maybe this is why they came separately, so he can stay an extra day? Thanks to the ones who were brave to reed all my recap! i read the rest and it was wonderful to get a different perspective!

Hey Everyone!! Here's my recap of last night's concert as promised! Sorry but it is long.. Unfortunately I didn't have the day off and was busy at work until now.. This is my second QAL concert and what a concert it was!! The day started with me being on edge with excitement! I was looking forward to the concert I couldn't stop talking about it! I was also anxious from finding parking and getting a descent view of the stage (and Adam of course..) I worried for nothing! With the help of my brother we found a parking space pretty fast and after a short walk we were there, at the Golden Ring section of the concert! We had a nice view, the closest I have ever been in a concert of this magnitude (that matters..), but still not as close as I hoped, I couldn't see Adam's expressions live (only on the screen) but it was good place considering the alternatives. I do dream of one day seeing him up close, maybe on the next QAL or even better his solo tour.. The people around us were talking how this is by far the wideset Golden Ring they have been to Also there were a couple of dudes that kept on talking on how they were there for Brian's guitar and not more than that (I will get back to them shortly). The concert started on time (a few minutes earlier than scheduled) which is a precedent for the concerts in Israel that I have been to, but suits the professionalism of our beloved QAL!! I was supper excited by Adam's outfit it was insane, and I had a feeling he had a lace top underneath, didn't think he would walk in it though (little did I know..) The guys I mentioned before took until "Fat Bottomed Girls" to warm up to Adam and by the end "Don't stop me now" they were shouting "OMG, HE'S AMAZING!! WHAT A SINGER" Needless to say they were sold!! The crowd seems to love him and everyone was eating from the palm of his hand. I was glad to hear from katycake's recap that he felt the love!! I was hoping he would, because my side was excited but there were so many people you can never know.. I have a feeling he spat out every Hebrew/Yiddish phrase he knew but it got everyone onboard the AFL train, and that was great and totally cute I loved all his outfits, even the weird one with the lace, is it the most top body skin we've seen of him? We should thank Israel's heat and humid for this, he was so fucking HOT (in every sense of the word..) and the weather actually got a little cooler in the recent week or so.. He did threw the rest of his "water" from the cup to the audience after Killer Queen, because it was "so HOT" All the time my friend kept telling me "I LOVE HIM SO MUCH", "ME TOO" I said. She has been an admirer of Adam from the American Idol days, usually talking to me after a TV performance. The X-factor with QAL sold her on going to a concert, which we went to in Prague, first time seeing Adam live! My brother was completely sold on Adam as a singer and a performer, he really loved him, and he is really hard to please!! Everyone around us seemed to be excited and sad that it was over!! The quality of the sound and the visuals was amazing an on point (the video failed like twice and for a few seconds only) Sorry but don't have good pictures to share, I wanted to focus on the concert and not trying to get a picture that I knew people will have better ones! Here's to hoping my dream to see him closer and again will come true, but even if it won't I am happy with what I got! Maybe on his next tour I would be able to plan my annually US trip to coincide with it! This year I am going with my mom to visit my sister and my beautiful nephew and nice on Thanksgiving!! Another thing, this was defiantly one of the biggest crowds in Park Hayrkon over 57K, from the paper today only Michael Jackson drew more (70K) and that was back in 1993 the highlight of his career! Some other big names drew close to them but less. This made me so happy! Most of the reviews I've seen have been glowing, and the comments too. But we can't really escape from the "he's not Freddie Mercury" no shit! He's "Adam F-king Lambert" and never tried to be anything but. I did read one review that mentioned Adam doesn't have a good vocal range, really? I don't know allot about this subject, but I have been reading this blog for a long time and if there is something I know is that Adam has an extraordinary vocal range! So bite that! And this reviewer also felt like he liked Adam allot more than he thought he would but couldn't possibly tarnish Freddie's legacy. I could never fully understand why one has to come over the other, you can enjoy Adam and still know that Freddie was the greatest! As for Adam I am sure we haven't seen the best of him yet!!!

I don't know how to quote from yesterday's thread, so I'm copying from stampsgal post: The cheapest tickets went for 340 shekels, which is us$90. In Guy Pines' show last night they mentioned there will be 600 security guards, which coast around 700,000 shekels (about US$185,000). I have a question- If they sold more tickets then intended (55K instead of the usual 50K) and the Golden Ring was bigger then usual (they said 8000 in the video) than who makes the extra profit? I thought it will only be the promoters that benefits..

Adam is soo sweet and low key when he needs to be! π I had a feeling the Golden Ring was bigger than usual. I realy hope I will have a good view.. It's just greedy from the promoters side to expand it so much more then it should be π¬ Fingers crossed y'all can get a good view. Β It may mean you'll need to queue.....many, many hours ahead of time. Β I assume you all can do that? Β It's 24 hrs away....are there any there in line now? Β 15 hrs is the longest I've queued and it was in the shade. Unfortunately no I cant.. I will probably get there about 2 hours before and that is the earliest I can.. Fingers crossed I will have a decent view.. I will let you guys know when I can!! π

They just showed a little piece about QAL in Guy Pines entertainment news ("Good Evening")! They said "you would've expected a rock star like Adam Lambert to go out and tear Tel Aviv apart, but no - he stayed in his hotel all day and ordered himself a massage..."Β They also said that the Golden Ring has been expanded to be the biggest ever - 8,000 people! Good news for the organizers, bad news for me Β I thought I'd be able to see them them up close... Adam is soo sweet and low key when he needs to be! π I had a feeling the Golden Ring was bigger than usual. I realy hope I will have a good view.. It's just greedy from the promoters side to expand it so much more then it should be π¬
