It is quite close to NYC. It's actually right next to Giants Stadium where the NY Giants and Jets play football So yeah it's QUITE close to NYC which is why I'm already looking to see if I can schedule that one in And my Seahawks won the Super Bowl! Sorry, nobody here cares about that Actually I love the Seahawks...and beyond that, I've already created a whole story in my mind about Adam, Russell and Richard connecting in some way, some day. :-)

Thinking a lot today of how Adam impacts people just by the way he leads his life, made me think of this quote: Thank you so much, redpanda, for connecting Adam's sense of self and personal insight to Nelson Mandela's timeless wisdom.

I sent an email as well, and will rent it. I encourage others to do the same. Equality is spreading, but there is still a long way to go. I sent an e mail too.. For the life of me I don't understand why some people feel It's their duty to tell others how to live or who to love. I participated in the live chat function with a RedBox customer service rep....he was happy for the feedback about sticking with Bridegroom etc. He is providing the feedback in his report to his leadership team.

Hi Everyone -- I thought I would share an amazing experience I had yesterday! A year or so ago, my cousin Mark and his partner of 27 years Joseph, told me they were thinking of getting married since it is now legal in WA State. I said I would love to do the wedding, but Joe said that he had a judge friend he wanted to ask, but I could sing. Fast forward to a couple of months ago--I get the wedding invitation (yay) and Mark asked me to call--it turns out they wanted to know if I could read something at the ceremony. Of course I said yes. Then last Tuesday, I got a somewhat panicked call from Mark asking if I might be able to officiate at the ceremony...and so yesterday I officiated (in my pastor guise) at their wedding. It was truly one of the happiest weddings I have ever been part of. When Mark and Joe entered the ballroom where the wedding was being held and started down the aisle, everyone not only stood--they cheered. It was fabulous. I got great compliments on the ceremony but the ones that meant the most were from the grooms, who told me they were happy it worked out the way it did and that the service was perfect. Our family is Scandinavian Lutheran and Joe's is Jewish, so I blended both traditions and Joe's brother-in-law even brought glasses for the grooms to break at the end of the ceremony. We were surrounded by over 100 friends, family and assorted folks--and Brewster, the grooms' dog, even walked down the aisle with his pet-sitter! I felt so honored to be part of this wedding, which was 28 years in the making. Mark and Joe are one of the strongest couples I know, and I know they will be together forever. They also are a living example of the power of love--as the joy that showed in both their faces just lit up the room. What a great day! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful experience!

I wanted the name to express what Adam means to me, in my life. The word "grace" is defined as an elegance or beauty of movement. It can also mean a gift from God (or the universe) that is neither earned nor possibly deserved, but rather a gift given out of love. So that is what Adam means to me...he is an elegant gift of undeserved love. Hence, gracefuladam.

Looking for something to read on a slow news day? Try this: www.danoah.com/2012/04/a-teens-brave-response.htmlA Teen's Brave Response to "I'm Christian, unless you're gay." "I received the following email today in response to my post I’m Christian, Unless You’re Gay. I had decided a couple months ago that it was time to let the whole thing rest, but this response was so powerful, I couldn’t not share it with you all. It was from a woman who simply called herself, “One proud mom.”" Thank you kindly for sharing this response. Cassie.

Just a little bit of nostalgia - many of you generously contributed Adam's CDs to the Sister Soldier Project over the last 4 years. Sister Soldier Project received thousands of Adam's CDs - and they went into care packages for women soldiers all around the world. The project recently has been winding down - but there are still some CDs left to go into the remaining requests for care packages.
So finally...the amazing director of Sister Soldier Project is going to an Adam concert this weekend in Paso Robles. If I could figure out how to perform magic...she is a person that would be so much fun for Adam to meet. I wonder if he has any idea how many women soldiers have his music? The director is very special - she dedicated many years of her life to the project and she is also now an Adam fan extraordinaire.
Anyway, I sent info packages a number of times to Adam's management team, mostly related to 1n10, to see if any way to make the connection but it never worked. So, it will be fine just to know that this wonderful person is enjoying Adam up front and personal :-)
