Too bad you have to skip these because if she listened a few more times, I'll bet she would love them. I didn't like Kickin In the first few times either, but now I love it. Once it Kicks In, it is kind of addictive. I love everything about the produciton. The frenetic background makes it sound just like someone downing one shot after another! Am I the only one who loved Kickin' In on first listen? I loved it then and I love it now. It is probably my favorite fast song. Maybe because I was a big MJ fan and it sounds like him to me. I loved Kickin' In on the first listen and every time forevermore. :-)

Here is a funny little sentence I just saw on Daily Kos from someone liveblogging the Republican Convention.
"Re: Danny Gokey: So that's what happens to runner-runner-ups on American Idol?"
Now then, I would love to see Adam singing at the Democratic Convention....that would be lovely!

Aww Q3, thanks for the Birthday headline. We're still friends, embarrassment :-[ is a small price to pay if it generates a few extra tickets for the 1 in 10 kids!! ;D Thanks Q3 for acknowledging JustKaren's birthday and the 1n10 kids on page one today. I just spoke to Molly at 1n10 before the staff heads to OUTDoors! Camp this long weekend. She was so happy to say that 15 tickets have been donated already! The goal is 30-35. JustKaren, I am donating towards a ticket for your birthday today too :-) Thanks for all you do to support others.

We can work on our project while waiting for the AI announcement - yes we can! :-) I'm giving up my birthday tomorrow for the 1 in 10 kids' Adam concert tickets. Unfortunately at this age I only get a couple of presents, but I've asked them to buy 1 in 10 tickets instead. So besides my own donation, they'll be getting a couple more. Can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday! :D JustKaren - much love to you on your birthday. I am going to tell the 1n10 staff about your birthday story. They love to share such stories with the kids - it lets the youth know they do matter to others in their often challenging world.

We can work on our project while waiting for the AI announcement - yes we can! :-) Adamtopians extraordinaire are donating $$ to support 1n10 youth to attend Adam's upcoming concert at the Arizona State Fair on October 17. It would be great if Molly at 1n10 could receive donations by September 12. The tickets go on sale on September 15. The tickets are $20.00 each for reserved seating. We are hoping to sponsor 30-35 youth. You can send a check/cash to the address below, with a note indicating that this is a donation for the AZ State Fair ticket purchase. one n ten c/o Molly Stump 2700 North 3rd Street Suite #2011 Phoenix, AZ 85004 (602) 400-2601 (this is the office phone #) Office Manager/Molly Stump You can also send the donation online through PayPal at onenten.org/ If you do this, send Molly an email molly@onenten.org to let her know that the donation is for the tickets. Some fans may decide to send $5.00 for the light rail or bus tickets, if they are not able to purchase a ticket. I would like to keep count of how many tickets 1n10 will be able to purchase so if okay with you, please update me by direct message. It will mean so much to the youth to see the most precious and amazing Adam in concert. :-) Thanks to those who can contribute a little or who just send their kind thoughts to the youth. It's all welcomed! p.s. I am trying to see about a meet and greet if anyone has any ideas. I sent a packet of 1n10 materials to Adam's management team address (thanks, mys*&@^#r, for providing) and requested a meet & great for the youth, but have not heard back "yet".

A quick update on Adam’s concert at the AZ State Fair in October. The State Fair box office is going to work with 1n10 to secure blocks of seats for approximately 30-35 youth.
So far, through the helpful ideas and support of graciejane, JustKaren, diamondlil and BlackAndYellow (and others) there are commitments for about 15 tickets so far.
If anyone would like to participate in this effort to support 1n10 youth to attend Adam’s concert, the reserved tickets are $20 each. There are hundreds of young people served by 1n10 and only a limited number of tickets, so the staff will come up with a way to select the youth to attend the concert (e.g. recognition, prizes).
If you are interested in supporting a youth to attend Adam’s concert, please send me a direct message and I will let you know where to send the money for the tickets. Or, if you would like to contribute a few dollars towards transportation (bus or light rail tickets) that would be great. And, as always, your kind thoughts and just checking out the onenten.org website to acknowledge the youth means quite a lot, too.
I am still working on the process with 1n10, so it may take me a few days or more to respond to any direct messages.
Thanks so much to all that are able to support this little project to bring some joy in the form of Adam’s amazing music to these awesome young people.

Hi everyone....my daughter is getting married next weekend and so I have not been posting too much but still keeping up with "all things Adam" here and everywhere.
Early this week (before it gets too wild with last minute wedding preparations), I will update everyone on the 1n10 youth and the plan to get as many youth as possible to Adam's concert at the AZ State Fair in October. Some amazing Adamtopians involved and hoping for others to hop on board. :-) More soon...
Just a note about weddings - great time to get Adam's music out there :-) All the bridesmaids etc at the bachelorette party were gifted a copy of Trespassing and they played the CD all weekend; it was one of the main prizes for the wedding shower games, and...
The bride and groom have selected Cuckoo and Pop That Lock for their wedding song list. They made the decision but asked for my "blessing". There is no song that Adam sings, now or in the future, that would not be wonderful, wonderful!!! So of course!
Back to you soon on 1n10 youth and Adam at the AZ State Fair and ways that you can support, if able.
