My Charity Water photo came Today! What a cap to an already FANTASTIC week. And also in the mail were beautiful pictures of my 14 year old grandson. I couldn't decide which to open first. Don't tell anyone - but Adam got first choice. However, my grandson is an awfully handsome young man with brown curly hair (no shaved sides-TG), brown eyes and a smile that tells you he is up to "something". Two great pictures of my two favorite males. Great Day!!

How many times do you listen, loop, hit replay before it is too many? Can't get enough of this awesome performance. It is so f...ing inspiring! Even the delay of the single can't put a downer on any of what we have experienced this past weekend. Keep smiling everyone and have a SUPER DAY!

As I sat with my granddaughter watching the EMAs last night - I thought how truly "small" our world has become. I, in the over 60 generation, sitting with my pre-teen granddaughter in Kentucky, USA watching the European Music Awards from Belfast, Ireland with American teenie boopers, old school European world class rock musicians and International singing sensation AFL sharing the same stage. Viewing it all on a 60" flat screen with surround sound but with Spanish and English commercials that we understood. What wonderment and awe it all was for these two generations to be able to share and appreciate not only each others worlds, but the world at large. And we never would have had the experience, thought to find the channels or take the time if it weren't for Adam. Yes, he is conquering the world in some ways he will never understand.

----- Cassie's review moved to top of page by Q3 ----- I was behind all day yesterday/tonight with the thread, so never commented - in fact, still haven't read to the end. Mostly, because I have been so in awe and listening over and over and watching videos and DVR. But Cassie - the tears have come again (for about the 4th time) tonight after these moving words - How you have summed up my feelings so eloquently. Thank you for sharing your recap and your feelings. And thanks to all of you here at Atop, old friends and new, some like me with RL keeping them away, but others sharing the love. What a wonderful place and what an awesome artist we have chosen to follow! There is none betterer!

ljsmack comments on Aurora's avi .........there's something innocent and real about Adam's reaction after he says love. It's that innocence and delight and fascination that make him so compelling to me. I love the times that he gets so wrapped up in his performance and then shrugs sheepishly. I'm very envious of that pure abandonment. AMEN - The abandonment and joy of a child, but the body and mind/intellect of a MAN! And he can sing too! What else could we possibly need - Except maybe that single SOON!

Ok...I have worked out what I want to happen which is SURE TO BE WHAT WILL HAPPEN. ADAM WILL DESCEND FROM THE SKY IN A BEDAZZLED WHITE ONESIE WHILE QUEEN STRIKE UP THE OPENING CHORDS TO BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY WITH LADY GAGA ON PIANO IN AN EQUALLY ABSURD MERCURIAN INSPIRED ENSEMBLE EXCEPT THAT YOU CAN'T SEE HER YET BECAUSE THE PIANO IS IN THE SHADOWS. ADAM REACHES THE STAGE AND TOTALLY KILLS IT WITH A TRUNCATED VERSION OF THE SONG AND THEN IT SEGUE WAYS INTO 'RADIO GAGA' AND LADY GAGA IS REVEALED AND SHE STARTS SINGING WHILE ADAM AIR HUMPS BRIAN MAY. AFTER THAT HE DOES A LITTLE 'ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST/KILLER QUEEN/DON'T STOP ME NOW MEDLEY WITH GAGA POUNDING AWAY ON THE PIANO. SUDDENLY A BEAM OF LIGHT SHOOTS FROM BEHIND TWO DOORS ON THE STAGE THAT OPEN TO REVEAL BOWIE AS HE RIDES ONSTAGE UPON A CHARIOT MADE OF FIRE AND RHINESTONES AND THEN THEY DUET ON UNDER PRESSURE. AFTER UNDER PRESSURE GAGA GETS OFF HER PIANO BENCH AND JOINS BOWIE AND ADAM CENTER STAGE WHERE THEY BEGIN TO GET HOISTED INTO THE AIR LIKE THEY ARE IN A BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF PETER PAN AND THEY SOAR AROUND THE STADIUM SINGING WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS WHILST A CHOIR OF ANGELIC BRITISH BOYS SING ONSTAGE IN GLITTERY UNITARDS AND PYROTECHNICS EXPLODE LIKE IT'S THE MOTHER FUCKIN FOURTH OF JULY. The end. OMG - I am still chuckling - What a wonderful imagination you have - Oh wait that will happen - right? Thanks for the laugh.

Don't want to derail the Adam discussion but Susie, lynne and I are going to see Sasha tonight in the SYTYCD tour! Excited!! Mys*&@^#r, etal -have a great time - I saw them in Cincinnati early October - Good show - Love Sasha, but after seeing Melanie live, understand now why Sasha came in 2nd. Good show - higher energy the 2nd half - Jesse, Marcus and Tad were real crowd pleasers! Enjoy and let us know what you thought.

I like Leroy Bell and love Josh (like both of their back stories and like the way they sing). Drew reminds me of a younger Brooke White - Pleasant voice, but can she do other genres and get a wider audience. Melanie - Great voice - let's see what else she can do. Didn't really care for any of the boys - but Rap isn't my thing - Astro has a lot of entertainment value and I agree I can see LA signing him anyway. Marcus was just okay for me. Little Rachel is a powerhouse and agree that she needed a different song - Am afraid Simon wants her to be another Smith kid - whipping her hair in the air! All IMHO - I will tune in next week and maybe even vote and haven't done that since Sasha.

Yes, I am sucker for this type of show as well - does beat American Idol in a lot of ways. Missed the Stereo Hogs as well, was into Biggest Loser or NCIS or maybe Dancing with the Stars - too many commercials in any of them for my taste. I never watch any show all the way through without flipping through channels. Nothing keeps my interest for long but a few of these singers I really enjoyed and actually stopped and listened.

Marie23, etal - Yes it was great, thought about this thread towards the end of the show, so waited to comment - Good show overall, some good talent - I won't jump in with spoilers either - But the over 30's and the girl's IMO brought the best of show.
