I hate the Kyle Harris review. Pretty much every presumption he makes about Adam pisses me off. He knows nothing about his struggles! Assumes things have been easy for Adam! Grrrr! I've gone back and forth on this one myself! He appreciates Adams talent but looking at it from your perspective, YES, he assumes too much and I didn't like the phrase uptempo funeral! Who the hell does he think he is. Of course, it's only his opinion. I actually tweeted back at him saying should the guys have also died to tie the package up nice and neat! bla bla bla bla,

Gah! Old people (of which I am one but really). That's a whole new level of he's not Freddie. And no, that last paragraph does not excuse the rest of the 'prancing' style adjectives. Is it wrong to hold Freddie up as his beacon, no! But WTF. And before anyone gets pissed off at me, I was one of two women who graduated from engineering school (macho petroleum at that) in a deeply red state in 1979. There were no f**king women's bathrooms out in the field, but I don't go around telling young women engineers these days how easy they have it now and only we were real women! Gah! Must stop reading reviews PS - I am exiting the thread now and will be back tomorrow when I have cooled down. Maybe I will think better of it then and delete this post but I would rather do this than punch a wall. My old bones are getting brittle and I might hurt myself. Agree. There were gay people and artists before and after Freddie. The experience is not just Freddie's or Adam's. It is great to have role models but no artist is solely responsible for making anyone feel good about their experiences. They will not all be the same nor expressed in the same manner. Adam is confident but I'm sure he has his share of hurt. They way he copes and brings joy to others (gay or straight) is his way. Anyone who goes to a QAL concert looking to feel the way they felt with Freddie (some 25 years ago) is not Adam's problem, it is theirs. Brian and Roger chose Adam because he is good. Freddie could not be out. Adam cannot change that nor has he pretended to not be aware of Freddie's struggles. But he can only represent himself the best way that he can and perform in a manner that is true to himself and his talents. He is not Freddie. He is Adam Lambert, solo artist, and the current frontman of Queen. And many are very proud of him and the positive role model that he is today. It would be nice if people would just let him be Adam cause that is who he is. Well said!!!!!!!!

I actually thought is was a great review! He appreciates the confidence that Adam performs with and there was no lack of appreciation for Adam's talent. What I did mind though, was the thought that Adam has never struggled. Early on I think he did but he is now in a place where he's like, "WHATEVER". God forbid we are still back in the 70's and 80's and of course Freddie never publicly said I'm gay or bisexual until the very end. Anyway, don't hurt yourself because I agree with you on one point, the comparisons are getting old and need to stop! bla bla bla bla is what I hear now!!!

Yes!!! I guess I am one of those weird ones that like a discussion like this. It is all good---we are all Adam fans Personally I don't like this discussion because we have it every time a song of Adam's doesn't do as well as we want. For me it just brings me down, and what are we suppose to do to change things, NOTHING we can do. We are his fans and we support him but we can't do a thing about the rest!!!!! I just want to enjoy all the music and performances Adam gives us and it's a lot in my opinion! I know some of you feel different so I'll just scroll! By the way, I do stream, play videos, buy his music, go to his concerts etc., so I do what I can. Chicago is my concert so bring on Thursday. My co-worker and her kids will be in Kansas city tonight!

adamrocks, be sure to report back to us about the Kansas City show! I'll be at the Chicago show on Thursday! I'll be in Chicago too. Taking my DH. LOL, he is a child of the 50's and really doesn't know Queen at all. He DOES know Adam however, since he has no choice. Seriously, my sons are trying to talk him out of it; they want to go. He refuses to budge on that one. My daughter and I will be in Chicago too for the second time!!!!! She's had a recent surgery and I was worried she wouldn't be able to go. When I asked she said "if I have to be wheeled in a wheelchair I'm going". Obviously we'll both be there! haha

My "Queen" news of the day. Mention from my local paper of the Queen Nation tribute band with an Adam mention? www.idahostatesman.com/entertainment/ent-columns-blogs/words-deeds/article159888164.html It kicks off Friday with touring tribute band Queen Nation. And they will (they will) rock you. Seriously, from “Bicycle Race” to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” frontman Gregory Finsley really nails Freddie Mercury. ( Some argue that Finsley, not Adam Lambert, should be performing with the real Queen.) Boise’s own Ned Evett Electric Band opens the show from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Queen Nation will prove they are the champions starting at 6:30 and play until 8:30 p.m. — unless they need to go on and on and on and on Surely that is tongue in cheek otherwise Some people are truly clueless. Prowl this if you dare. m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3898&v=dtCtMneaoIEWell, I listened to exactly 2:43 seconds of it! That's all I could take!

I don't know and I don't wanna stir something up, but it irritates me when Adam's weight is an issue in any form. Of course his good looks are part of his package but it is so often that there is so much disapproval if it comes to his weight. He is getting older too and maybe it isn't that easy for him to be as thin as 10 years ago... don't we all feel that way? I think he looks more mature and manly now and I wouldn't mind if he put on a few grams. Just a thought - would we think it is appropriate to discuss his weight if he would be a woman? Sorry for rambling, but I had to get this off my chest.... I think Adam looks fabulous because he's a gorgeous man. I personally like him on the heavier side but I'll take him anyway I can get him! hahaha

Has tonight's streamer been posted yet? No show tonight - Denver - tomorrow night 4EverAdam, that's the best avi I've seen in ages since I had my original moving one from back in 2010. You know, that x-rated move he made while dancing at the edge of the stage.

I was so tired yesterday that I went to bed right after the concert was over and I woke up to all these amazing pics and videos!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH...THEY ARE FABULOUS!! And I just realized that SUNDAY IS MY CONCERT!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!! My brother and SIL are meeting us in Kansas City and going with me and my son. My brother isn't all about QAL but I bet he changes his tune when he sees the show! I am sure he has never seen a concert like this. He will be blown away!! I have been holding off watching video so most of the visual will be new to me!! Is it SUNDAY yet?! A co-worker of mine is going to Kansas City too. Funny, cause I'm going to Chicago and got my tickets the day they went on sale. She was able to get hers on that special day they had really cheap tickets, can't remember what it was called, anyway she got very good seats. Can't wait for her reaction. I've been talking about this concert for ever and now she'll see it before me! She's never seen Adam or Queen live but her little girl who is about 12 is just crazy about Adam so we've talked about him a lot. Hope you have a great show!!!!!!!
