Yeah, I think Detroit was one of the best concerts on the NA tour - or am I confusing it with Dallas?, - in any case, great moments! I was following the entire tour online. When my friends asked me what I was doing over the summer, I would tell them I'm on a virtual Queen + Adam Lambert tour.... And it was a wild ride for me too, even though I wasn't actually there: staying up for the streams or watching them the next day, enjoying those special moments which make every concert unique, reading the stellar reviews from everywhere they went.... It was so much fun. I was at the Auburn Hills (Detroit) concert. I could feel the music vibrating in my body, I hadn't anticipated that. Better, yet, I could see everything. Section D, 1st row with a wide aisle in front of me. Close to the B-stage, but off to the side enough to see the main stage well. I can't stand that long, so the seat was terrific for my frequent sit-downs. There was basically no one in front of me. Everyone has heard the music, but actually being in the auditorium and hearing and seeing it live was nearly overwhelming. I remember looking at the stars and mirror ball rotating overhead and thinking that I need to look back at Adam. There was too much to see and hear at one time. I wanted to stay there and see it again, the way you used to be able to stay at the movie theater and see it again. (Can you still do that?) QAL put on the closest thing to a perfect concert I'm ever likely to see.

Five years ago today... 2010-07-06 Adam Lambert TennesseeTheatre Knoxville TNVideos - HEREI loved the Knoxville concert. After my six NE concerts, I came home for a few days and then drove to Knoxville and met starlyyte again and we got with @tinysparkles. We had 5th row center seats, which made them 8th row after the pit. LOTS of seats in front of us were empty. As I ran into people I had met earlier in the day at intermission, I told them to come up to those seats. They did and got great seats on the two rows in front of us. Didn't meet bamafan until the next night in Nashville and found out later that she had a crummy seat in Knoxville. Wish I'd known her earlier.
After the concert, I left my group and rushed back to the Hilton to upload my vids. That hotel had the fastest internet I've ever seen and my vids were the first ones up and got a great reception. That makes videoing worth it - to see lots of people really enjoy what you did. Just a quick post as I rush out to work - Thank you 4M's for the wonderful vids and pictures from my 2nd concert. That is when I got to meet you and bamafan and spardu and mangokat and mayumi and all the dh, ds. You ladies helped make it a wonderful memory. Needacoke - I was on the 7th row, center with Spardu and her dh - Awesome seats and what a SHOW. Then I also met Q3 briefly and Joky? Well worth my 4 hour drive both ways. It doesn't seem like a year ago - in some ways it seems a life time ago and that I have known you all forever. What a difference a year makes and how our lives have changed and intertwined!!!! Have a SUPER DAY everyone. See you this evening. More: atop.proboards.com/thread/155/20-gnt-knoxville-tennessee-theatre

I don't care one wit about Madonna or her current song. I want GT to continue climbing the charts and wish it longevity and every success. In the very, very, very far distant future, a new single from TOH will be chosen. You think TOH will be the nest single. I prefer TISI.

Lol, didn't mean to offend. The quality of Madonna's song is not relevant. (Maybe it's typical Madonna. Reminds me of Kei$ha.) I'm only talking about it's relative success. I'm using the word bitch as in "To dominate an opponent in competition" (Urban Dictionary) and to tie to the M song. You can call my use of the word bitch tacky and cheap, if you like. I've read that some don't like the lyric grown-ass man. I think it fits, in the context of the song. Not offended just making an observation. Have always preferred the regular dictionary The regular dictionary is one reference tool, but not always the right one. twitter.com/adamlambert/status/206036392189505536

Played GT, TOH, TISI, EITN and Rumors for my 14 yr. old granddaughter. She liked Rumors the best; that's the one I skip the most. My favorite is TISI followed by EITN, UG, ALN, TOH, GT and These Boys (it just makes you smile). But, I do believe that TOH will probaby be the next single. GT was never my fav, but I played the YTs until I began streaming the heck out of it. The Spotify streaming has been playing at a barely-there volume on my Kindle. I did have it muted for a couple of days, but found that it kept turning off. I turned on the volume so I could make sure it was running. All of the GT Rdio streaming on my computer was for nothing because I had it muted on site. I even feel guilty for listening to the other songs because I'm missing an opportunity to make GT count. Frankly, I'd stick a fork in GT but for Adam. These Boys is great fun with a serious message. I think it'd be a great pep tune for LGBT teens. Shame is funny in a naughty way I like. Not sure the kiddies should be listening. I very much like TOH, and EITN live. Does anyone else think Adam particularly likes to sing EITN? ALN on the album, iHeart version made me nervous. Need to listen more to the others.

I They both had GT as the 1st single. Which song on the TOH album could be Adam's bitch song? I'm serious about this. I think maybe the second single needs to be a dramatic statement about who he is. There I Said It could be the song, an LGBT anthem. Adam Lambert - "Ghost Town" [Official Music Video] Published on Apr 29, 2015 8,664,852 Views www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix8ocFEMa1oMadonna - Ghosttown 13,418,941 Views Published on Apr 8, 2015 13,418,941 Views Madonna - Bitch I'm Madonna ft. Nicki MinajPublished on Jun 18, 2015 35,685,855 Views For starters, "Living for Love" was the lead single for Madonna's latest album. Her "Ghosttown" was the second single. "Bitch I'm Madonna" is track #3 and it the first track from Rebel Heart to make the BB Hot 100. It debuted at #85 with 2.6 million US streams up to the week ending June 21, 2015. I do not think that what Madonna does has anything to do with Adam. Setting all of that aside -- I do not have a clue what BIM has to do with TISI. BIM is a dub-step dance song and TISI is a theatrical song. If you are looking for similarities -- Madonna's #3 track involve a high-profile featured performance. That would indicate that "Rumors" would be Adam's #3 single. *** Adam and his team will pick the song that is most likely to get pop radio airplay -- that is almost certainly TOH, ALN or Rumors. My guess remains TOH is September, Rumors after that. I really shouldn't... TISI doesn't have anything to do with Madonna, BIM, or dub-step. I made the connection only because I've been checking to see how popular M's music videos have been. The Gt view count doesn't seem particularly impressive for an icon like Madonna. 35,685,855 views in 2 weeks for BIM does impress me. Didn't M and her team choose songs that they thought would be popular for the first 2? Did they know BIM would outperform LFL and GT and purposely save it for the third song? I wouldn't think so, but I know nothing. I like TOH, but I just can not imagine people getting all that excited about it. What is there about that song that will make it particularly memorable, make it blow up in people's imaginations? On the other hand, TISI has been making people cry because Adam's vocals are so beautiful. The song is powerful and I can imagine it as an LGBT anthem. People took lyrics from WWFM and used them in everyday conversation and they're going to do it with BIM. We are doing it with TISI. It's possible that because I haven't emotionally connected to the title track, I can't see it's full potential. I would really love to hear what makes people passionate about TOH.
