Looks like some are already lining up for tonite. Been there/done that. lol. Weather looks awful. At least I had good weather in NZ/OZ...made it much easier. That and a camping chair. https://www.instagram.com/p/BCKwMTwt6kc LOL and that very camping chair and it's companion (all the way from Auckland) are in my garage ready to go to D.C. on the 5th.

Bamafan and I were ready to leave the hotel to head back to the venue and heard the thunder. Had time to grab umbrellas, raincoats and ziplock bags before venturing out. Fortunately it let up quite a bit and the sun is coming out.

We're taking turns going back to our hotel to get ready for the concert and to drop off our chairs. The hotel is the closest so far at only 200 meters from the venue but we've used the same system for each venue. Regarding the dash to the front, the promoter is using a numbering system for the VIP packages so we are slowly going into the venue in numerical order. No one, VIP or regular GA, is allowed to run or security will stop you and pull you out. So these shows are VIP GA? Sydney VIP GA on the floor and VIP in the seated balcony and dress circle (first few rows).

I see me...lol. Glad they rounded my age down to 64. I've always wondered.. what do people do with their portable chairs when they get in? I'm assuming it's a mad dash to the front if there are no seats, and the chairs look like they may take up quite a bit of space. Enjoy your show! It's already Thursday over here so the show is Thursday night for us and Thursday morning for you. Have a great time tonight!! Thank you! We've been out here today all day and have met some wonderful fans. The Dainty Group people have been wonderful. U.S. promoters could learn some lessons from them. Bamafan says hi!
