Sorry, but I disagree. Nothing can be done about the cancellation of Adam's GMA appearance but something can be done about the attitudes that allowed it. And Chris Brown is not a pariah by ABC's standards. He has appeared on GMA and he is going to be singing on Dancing with the Stars next week. ABC needs to have their hypocrisy exposed. Even if it was the simulated oral sex move that riled them up, how can ABC consider that to be worse than an unsimulated beating of a girlfriend? I would love for the AMAs to be put in the past forever, but if ABC is going to allow a known abuser to appear on their programs, I for one am going to protest. I absolutely agree with protesting Chris Brown. And I think his behavior is a problem on its own, not just in contrast to Adam. My own choice is to tell ABC how offended I am by their continued support of CB, but not mention Adam. I would be offended by CB even if Adam were on an ABC program twice a week.

QuinnAIT Got a question for you GMA: brizzly.com/pic/4C5Q33 minutes ago via Brizzly Retweeted by you and 11 others Sorry but can we stop pretending that it was the KISS that they were pissed about? It just seems really disingenuous to act as if he didn't shove that guys face into his crotch. They didn't edit out the kiss on the West Coast feed... they edited out the simulated oral sex move. Do I agree with GMA cancelling Adam? No. It was a huge overreaction and they could have gotten some really good ratings had they went ahead and had him on. However, if the fans want the media to forget about it, which we clearly do since we get testy with every mention (Billy Bush?), then perhaps we should stop bringing it up too. The people who were offended are never going to see that performance as anything other than offensive and GMA can't undo what they did and tweeting over a year and half later about it seems counterproductive. Adam has moved on. He didn't suffer from the cancellation. Today his Glam Nation Live DVD/CD hit stores and seems to be doing extremely well; meanwhile Chris Brown is still a parriah.... it all works out in the end. I'm only speaking for myself and not the rest of the fandom here, but I use the word "kiss" as shorthand for all of the sexual innuendo in Adam's AMA performance that ABC is unjustly punishing him for. Pushing a dancer's face in the crotch has, also, been done before and not deemed objectionable enough to get the artist banned. Adam was singled out for this unusual punishment, after ABC ran titillating promos suggesting that he was going to do something very close to what he did. I've always felt that ABC was more responsible for that performance than they let on. I think Adam was encouraged to be provocative. When something goes awry, Adam never publicly blames the sound guy or the backup singers. He takes responsibility and moves on. I'm not dwelling on it, but the hypocrisy is pretty blatant here. And, yeah, I'm still pissed about it.

This post may get deleted again (?) since it's off topic, but CB losses temper this morning when asked about the incident of 2 years ago. My point is, Adam still being asked about AMA's and yet always graceful about it. www.people.com/people/article/0,,20475420,00.html

Happy Birthday to Savy92, Oceanarose and Tippytoes! Have a fabulously Glam birthday!
A question for canadian I-tune users: I'm only seeing the Glam Nation CD on I-tunes Canada, for $16.99 - no videos are showing on the track list. When someone linked the tracklist earlier and I went to I-tunes from there, I still ended up with just 15 tracks, all audio and no video. Where can I find both?? Thanks for your help!

Gawker Chris Brown Flies into Violent, Chair-Throwing Rage at Good Morning America gawker.com/5784399/ ElloDalai @abc @gma @adamlambert kissed a guy and you banned him. Chris Brown assaulted someone, and you gave him a platform. See the problem? NOH8 bloobyglam Looks @abc shakes my head, thinks, @adamlambert wouldnt have broken your window, well he might have shattered one if you let him sing. I read the link, ty, and that blog writer's points seem relevant and interesting to me. And that second tweet is clever. I'm loving the "here and now" - but it is also "here and now" that Chris Brown is scheduled to be on "Dancing With Stars" as the musical guest next week (two songs, no less - and that show gets huge ratings). And Chris Brown will be there (if he's there) with Mike Catherwood (who might not be there much longer if his dancing doesn't improve). I don't know if I think DWTS will/should cancel Chris Brown or not. I think it might depend on whether anyone tries to charge him with breaking the window, I just don't know. And I was surprised Mike Catherwood got cast for DWTS, but he's physically attractive and his brand of humor, which to me was not at all funny when he joked about Adam, appeals to many. (Kelly Rippa loves him.) Anyway, the whole cancellation thing is "history," but history can put things in context and perspective. I think it does here. (Which is why history teachers don't appreciate the phrase, "Eh, that's history.") Adam performed on "So You Think You Can Dance." I would like to think one day he'll perform on "DWTS," too.

I think I'm the only one has a DVD in hand since last Friday but haven't watch it yet. Long story short.... I can't get either one of my DVD players working. Before my son return school from his spring break, he showed me how to operate them, but I can't make them work :( Have to wait for my other son to come home from his spring break to fix it/show me. So I'm now waiting for iTune download so I can at least watch it on my laptop. lol, sorta in the same boat here. My older daughter's boyfriend set up the DVD player and I watched as soon as it came. Last night I was watching DWTS and decided to watch the DVD on my computer. (I can't watch TV without doing something else, too.) I put in my DVD and my computer kept spitting it out! It asked me over and over again about the region and I kept insisting that it was the US. What do they call it when you keep doing the same thing and expect different results? Insanity? Finally, I called my son and after a few minutes he changed the region to Europe and voila!
