It is a very simple story – it is one of the best live concert DVD’s I have ever seen. (I do admit to a bit of bias but….OK I am a lot biased. It is a excellent concert DVD's and Adam is perfect.)

Many expected this DVD to be a Glam Nation Tour party favor that die-hard fans can save in their scrapbooks. It is so much more than that. Yes, it does capture a bit of the magic of the Glam Nation. But it also captures the energy and brilliance of the concert setlist and arrangements and choreo and production – and “the voice”.

The big surprise is the bonus Live CD. The Live CD reveals Adam’s voice unfettered by production, overdone instrumentation and anyone else’s vision for who he is as an artist. It is the multi-genre album connected by Adam’s vocals that Adam described in May 2009 before he started to work on “For You Entertainment”.

A large box arrived at my office today. I knew what it was. I felt like I was getting porno – at my office. The UPS man and a couple of my co-workers were looking at me oddly. I figured it was the odd shaped, 3 foot long box. I signed for it and greedily grabbed the package and placed it in my office. As I placed it in the corner of my office (kind of hidden), I noticed the label. I tried to look nonchalant. (Oh f#*k the label lists the contents – I may have been outed.)

I really didn’t have time to deal with “the box” right away. I had to go to a meeting. But the box was crushed a bit, and had a rip and holes in it, and (Oh f#*k) it was opened on the end – and it was mostly empty. (Panic started to set in. I got my Glam Nation Live shipment and some of it was missing!?!?!)

I told the people waiting in my conference room, “I will be right back”. Left the room calmly, then dashed across my office, down the long hallway, through my office lobby and out to the elevator lobby -- trying to catch the UPS man. I reached him just as the elevator arrived. I stood in front of the elevator and discussed the damaged, open box. We looked as his cart of packages hoping to find the missing packages. No luck. He noted something on his electronic tablet. "You need to contact the shipper," he said.

I took a deep breath. (It will be alright.) Calmly returned to the conference room. Met for a few hours. (I keep thinking about my damaged, ripped, open box. FOCUS. You are supposed to be running this meeting.)

Finally, the interminable meeting ended. I returned to my office. Picked up the 3 foot long, mostly empty box. My “secret” fandom had been revealed. And now I would not have a GLAM NATION LIVE DVD + CD. I was not amused!

I stared at the bottom of the 3 foot long box. Stuck at the bottom was one small package. I rapped that box against the floor to shake it loose. It fell out. It was an unlabeled, brown corrugated box the size of a CD! Maybe, just maybe….(I ripped open the box)….(I had a Christmas feeling)….just maybe one DVD+CD made it to me. YES! It was my very own GLAM NATION LIVE DVD + CD. I shoved it in my bag and headed to my car – and my CD Player.

Sitting in my car, I realized that I have no way to cut the wrapper and security seal sticker. I pretty much destroyed the CD case to get at the treasure inside. (I can replace the jewel case later.) Pulled out the CD. Popped it in the player. Cranked up the sound – really loud. The beginning of FYE Remix started. I was joyous – the production was spectacular. (I’ll deal with the missing GN Live items tomorrow.)
