I just got and watched my Glam Nation Tour DVD. My three-year-old daughter watched it too. Honestly, she has loved Adam's music too, and I would have taken her to the concert if I thought she could have handled it.
After the DVD was done, Willa, my daughter, said "That was a fun video of Adam. Let's watch it again!" I told her we can watch it tomorrow. She danced and sang along through the whole DVD. I was doubly entertained.
I was surprised at how I started counting the songs down after the second intermission. When IIHY started I was sad to see it ending. Loved the command to JUMP! Loved even more that the audience JUMPED! Brought back wonderful memories of my GNT show in Denver, what a WONDERFUL show! Can't wait to see him again.

FifthHouseSun While we wait for world peace, let's admire pacific Indy citizens who did not mass murder arm wavy woman in #GlamNationLive DVD This^^^ is my only criticism of the DVD. Not Adam's fualt, of course. The editors, god love 'em, must have had a hell of time getting those arms out of most of the shots. I can't help but wonder if this woman had some appropriate nickname in that editing room! ;D (I can think of a few!) Here's how great this DVD is: I didn't even notice wavy-arm woman! I had been reading complaints about this for a couple of weeks now as people watched the videos released from the concert (I didn't watch them because I wanted to watch the DVD with fresh eyes!), but it didn't dawn on me until after I watched the DVD that I was so riveted on Adam and his incredible performance that I was completely unaware of the offending arms. Yay! |

I got my DVD today!!!! I love it so much. I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my hopes for it. Too often when I hear people rave about something I get my hopes up too high and then am let down. Well that definitively is not the case here. It far exceeded my expectations. It will be watched many times!!!!!
