A few things...I really don't want to rain on anyone's parade but I want to make certain you all are aware of something. Queen has filmed many of their shows only to not release them. In fact Brian did a solo gig at the Royal Albert Hall in 1998 specifically meant to be released on DVD later that year. It still hasn't been released. Queen's gig at Hammersmith 1975 was filmed for broadcast. It still hasn't been released (although to be fair it has finally been mentioned for release.) I could go on. They may just be documenting for themselves, using it in a documentary later on down the line, maybe making a few bonus tracks or what not. BUT just because it is being professionally filmed, does not mean necessarily that a DVD will be released. Sure it's got a better chance than if it wasn't being filmed at all. AND to bring a positive note, they did film and release one gig from each of the tours with Paul Rodgers so maybe it is their intention...I just want everyone who is so excited to join Queen fan world for just a moment...NOTHING is offical until you get the press release from QOL about when it is going to be released...EVEN if they say it's going to happen. This is a group who first mentioned an Anthology Box Set in 1994 and said should be coming in 2003 at the latest. Still waiting Secondly - Dragon Attack. From what I inferred Queen was recording in Munich and the whole band was kind of falling to the darkside - they were all going out clubbing and drinking - Freddie started his cocaine use here. The room is probably the Sugar Shack where they all went and got pissed after recording sessions. It's all about the darker side of life that they were all getting involved with. And Mack is the producer of the album (and a few others). Just quick insights. Thanks for the perspective, Talon. That makes me even more thankful for the tv stream we got at Kiev. I've downloaded the mp3s for a car cd, but the video of the concert in total is sooo much more exciting. It may have a couple little "trainwrecks," to quote Brian, but is a wonderful performance by them all. I can't believe how much fun it is to watch them having so much fun!

at some point it has to be sustained by non-glamberts buying it otherwise what's the point? This whole gifting thing left a bad taste for me. It's just artifical positioning and not a real reflection of whether Adam has made a noteable impression during his UK promo. Now we might never know if the PR push helped So what? Adam is not well know¨n in the UK. We need to push it high so it gets visibility. Then the "regulars" can take over Exactly. We have to push in order to break the catch-22 with radio play. I see it this way: we are doing a favor to all those unenlightened folks that have not discovered the bliss yet. If he is up the charts they might notice and join the happiness. ;D

Yeah, I think Adam is in a good position to have a place on the voting panel since I agree they are going to want two males. I really think the addition of Britney and Demi on X-factor has basically forced AI to bring in a whole new panel of judges.
When are the judges first brought into things on AI? Is it around September, or later than that?

Interesting news. However, both Brian and Roger have been so supportive of Adam and his solo career that I think it's more likely they will release a DVD then not. JMO

Adam Lambert UK @lambertuk Listen in NOW! Radio 1 broadcast mid week chart (singles & albums) live at 4pm UK time - www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01kg562ETA: Someone up-thread was asking why the push to get NCOE so high up on iTunes. This is partly why. Now NCOE is going to be broadcast on Radio 1 as part of the official chart. This gives NCOE a chance to be heard by more people - so the purpose was always to get NCOE to be heard by more casual listeners.

JMOTrue in that they are supportive but they are also pretty meticulous about their own releases. So if there are a lot of little "trainwrecks" like in Kiev chances will go down substantially.
