What a perfect ending to a perfect day! And let us all pat ourselves for a job well done taking CW over $300K. Aloha, mwaaah, for that last push that did it. DH and I watched the GNL on the big screen and guise - it is the next best thing to being there! DH said his system converts it to Blue Ray - don't ask me how, I don't ever touch his toys (OK, some dirty minds will say something smart - I know you guise too well), but OMG, we are going to have so much fun next weekend. I can see us having an all nighter! But BB is worth losing sleep over.  Oh sweet Mayumi...you're no longer a GNLive virgin ! I thought you were going to hold out. As with all things AFL, resistance is futile. We'll probably have 2 sleepless nights ! There's always DVDs from Nashville, Louisville, Atlanta and LA we can view as previews before the " big event." |

Actually, there may be many reasons for FYE not being platinum in the US but lack of retail outlets stocking the album is not a problem. I check the music sections of my local music stores from time to time and my local music stores have not had FYE in stock for months. I only know what goes on in the US, not Canada. But I really do not believe it is a conspiracy. It is just that retail stores have pushed all of their stock levels down to cut expense -- music dept are getting very small. And FYE is not selling that much anymore. Last week FYE sold 2,000 copies (thanks to Idol and the DVD promotion) -- Walmart probably sold 20% of the units or about 400 copies. That is 1 sold in every 10 US Walmarts. So how many should they stock? ETA: Some Walmarts have Adam Lambert and Miranda Lambert in the same section. Others have Adam in Pop and Miranda in Country. Big mystery to me -- I live in Northern Ohio and my Target has --- Archie, Adam (FYE & GN L) and Taylor Hicks indie album in the Pop/Rock Section, Carrie in Country and no other Idol product. No Crystal and it is gone -- off the stock list, not sold out. |

Can anyone help me.....I guess I just have to wait and hope the cd/dvd I ordered on Feb 9 arrives one fine day. Frustrating. But...I went to itunes to buy the 'movie' as I want the concert on my computer anyway....and it is only available in the US!!! WTF....any ideas what I can do now? How does 'gifting' it work? If someone has a paypal, I can send you the money if you can somehow 'gift' it to me. Would that work....does anyone know? sheesh...here we are trying to keep the numbers up and they are making it difficult to buy....sigh...going to bed now...
