reading Dr. Bri's comments tells me that there will be other projects. See, they all found performing nirvana and the real SYNERGY is just flowing and flooding and lifting all of them. It is euphoria and they cannot give it up now. For B&R -it is a return to the sensations of "Old Days" , for Adam - it is probably the first time in his life that he is playing with his equals... ... and now that he tasted that - he will not be able to give it up. Same for B&R. - those are my humble thoughts. How perfectly said!

Thank you for bringing that over! Dr. Bri - an impressive and amazing human being. This makes me happier than anything! We have a bunch of documented evidence of a deranged, dancing, leather-legged red emu literally skipping off-stage arm-in-arm with Dr. Brian May! Who in the world gets to see something like that, ever? We do!! I can't stop watching it! For me, for you, this is the standout moment of the concert mini-series so far. But, with a day of vocal rest today, and wanting to have a BIG finale tomorrow no doubt, it could be insane! That strutting arm-in-arm off-stage to that sexy baseline totally did me in. At 3 a.m. last night I was still hitting replay, replay, replay, replay, until that moment got absorbed into my bonemarrow... It was a moment of such genius and joy!! When I saw that epic exit for the first time I literally laughed out loud at my computer screen!!! :2tears: :2tears: :2tears:

Have to add myself to the Idol = NSM group.
The idea of an entire new group of judges minus the bimbo and the dimbo and the retro does make it ever-so-slightly less painful to contemplate, but...
As for judge Adam...mentor Adam was great because being direct but positive is what he does best. Not sure how that would translate into judging, which is less about a collaborative process and more about sound bytes designed to put the performers into simplistic categories and give the people something to jeer or cheer.
The real question is whether the producers are going to quit going for the same predictable mix of contestants and actually pick some quirky, innovative talent for a change. (Still mourning the loss of Jessie Langseth, more than three years later...)
If all they can do is pick WGWG 6.0 and the also-rans, no amount of charisma, charm, or quippage from Adam is going to make the show significantly better.

I don't like the idea of a Queenbert US tour---it would be all mid-sized venues and a big time commitment. One or two shows in a big, impressive venue would be awesome, though. Does anybody think Bonnie McKee would be interested in being a judge. She loves Idol, and she and Adam would be hilarious. I think she is kind of busy trying to do the singing thing, though. What makes you think it would be mid size venues? No way! They would play arenas or places like Holywood Bowl. I would guess, if they toured, it would be NYC & LA in the US, and something in Japan, Australia, and S. America. Maybe China and that's it. Just 5-6 shows. my dream - MSG. Q3 posted that there were various promoters at the show last night. (how did she know?) If their phone was ringing after the EMAs, I can imagine it is one big ringing affair now... But, Adam does need to balance with the TP plans, although how will he play with the band...will be quite an adjustment....

www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/adam-lambert--mercurial-gift-of-an-american-idol-7939328.htmlAdam Lambert - Mercurial gift of an American Idol Reality TV graduate Adam Lambert is slipping into Freddie Mercury's leotard again. The first openly gay US No 1 artist tells Luke Blackall about singing with Queen It's hard to place Adam Lambert. A runner up on American Idol in 2009, his first album had a strong hint of glam rock, his latest stuff has a strong flavour of pop and emo, and he looks like a young (and slightly more handsome) Gary Numan. To top it all off, he's gay. While a gay pop star in 2012 might not sound so unusual in the UK, in the US it is. And this year Lambert achieved a remarkable feat as his second album, Trespassing, was the first record by an openly gay male solo artist to top the US Billboard album chart. ... "We're in the midst of this big civil rights movement," he says. "It's beautiful to see how people are powering through and I think the timing of that and my notoriety is a privilege. I feel I do have a certain amount of responsibility – because I have a visibility that not a lot of people have in the gay community, especially in the music industry – to be comfortable, to be open." The other curiously straight creative industry in the US is Hollywood, with whose members Lambert, perhaps surprisingly, has more sympathy. ... more This is a great article. Lots more to it so go check it out. Great press for the UK.

So JLo is gone, Randy might be a mentor. That's three positions open. It's been a fast week. So here it the equation. Idol is bigger than Queen, Idol is bigger than the Olympics, Idol is bigger than Radio. What will Idol do for Adam that it didn't do the first time? For those of us who venture to the comment sections at various sites we've seen the "ick", "gross", "dirty", "faggy", etc etc comments. Those people, probably scared by the AMAs, would never have seen Adam again at the various judging stints he's put on at the bravo channel or elsewhere. Those places are hidden in a deep corner that even fans sometimes don't find. Idol is a shiny, if slightly tarnished star. It can't help but lend it's glow to it's stars and face it....the stars of the show have always been the judges. It is the number one show in America which means it is the number one show in the world. It is broadcast in over 100 other nations. The judges are celebrities and they don't sing on Jay Leno, they talk.Oh, I just had a wonderful thought! Jay will probably have the new Idol judges on his show either just before Idol starts next season or just after it starts. It would be great publicity for Idol to introduce the audience to the new panel of judges. If one of those judges is Adam--SQUEEEEEE!
