ETA: Just picked up GNL at local Walmart....there were only two copies left  I live in a town so small we don't have a WalMart so I have asked friends that have one in their towns to check and none have had GNL in stock. None. Not sold out, they just don't have it!  |

ETA: Just picked up GNL at local Walmart....there were only two copies left Reminds me, my son was SO proud of himself for tracking down a copy here--he said he couldn't find ANY copies at Walmart, Target, OR the BN closest to us, that he finally called Best Buy, they had 10 copies, he asked them to hold one, went to pick it up Tues. and told him it was a good thing he'd reserved it, because they sold all the rest! Good news! (Except why not at other stores I wonder?) Honestly, I think he wanted me to realize he'd gone to EXTREME efforts to get this for me--and then he couldn't wait to give it to me--and what can I say? BEAUCOUP POINTS for my sometimes surly, but basically sweet kid! Yay for your son! I'm thinking that many stores only ordered a handful (like 2-4) and some didn't order any -- which makes sense given what Q3 said about how many FYE's are selling each week. It does make me feel a bit guilty about buying the CD/DVD from B&N as well as AO as wonderstruck pointed out the other day as I would have rather left it for casual fans who wouldn't have otherwise known about it (didn't take the last one though). I'd set aside a viewing time with my DH though, and the AO version wasn't delivered on time. Gonna gift my extra copy as I'm not a collector. (I even wrote notes on my Adam calender!  blasphemy!) Anyway, I LOVED it, on a large TV, head+shoulder shots were fine instead of closeups, editing worked for me in context (loved the jumpy IIHY), was seduced by the light and silent film quality combined with the audio of the Soaked shooting (and I'm not really a soaked fan). DH enjoyed it too, though he pointed out how much better Adam sounded live than any recording (he saw GN with me). Today he was like "I've had Adam in my head all day..." and I was like "Oh? Tell me more...." |

OOOH...I just got the mail and spotted an envelope from 19 Entertainment! I got a ridiculous thrill from this, like whenever I get an email from "Adam Lambert." Anyhow it was my signed charity:water photo of Adam!!!! oh and he's naked! trying not to put kiss marks all over it... ;D ;D ;D ;D Can't wait to get mine then |

Well I did a really good deed today for someone, and what shows up on my doorstep but the 3 copies I ordered of the DVD/CD. I tell ya - it's karma. Can't watch or listen till tomorrow though. Don't want to wake up son.

Why do you think RCA/19 decided to make this A major retail release instead of just limited distribution? I love it, but this is very expensive.
Q3, Thanks for your post Tuesday morning. I went to buy mine at Target, but thanks to you I had scissors! My jewel case is still in one piece.
BTW: My Target had it in the "Hot Music" section under "Glam Slam Nation Tour" Right at eye level.
