I've said this before but teenagers would NOT send thank yous for a radio station playing a song... IMO if you want to peg yourself as an older fan send a thank you note for them playing the song.... I guess I must be the only parent whose child sends thank you notes (that she writes herself and draws pictures on) and emails. Perhaps sending a thank you might just peg you as an individual with manners. : For gifts, yes! Of course! To a radio station for playing a song, probaly not.

How about sending a ton ;D of thank you tweets/texts while NCOE is played? Shows that you like the song and that you are listening to the station. I've said this before but teenagers would NOT send thank yous for a radio station playing a song... IMO if you want to peg yourself as an older fan send a thank you note for them playing the song.... Pretty cool gig with the guest spot on PLL. It's not a show I've ever seen but I know it's popular enough to have gotten the cover of EW. [snickers] I've met Tommy McFly in person. He knows I'm not a teen. That said, FreshFM is HAC and I'm smack dab in the middle of their demographic. I'm guessing Toby knows I'm not a teen either. But I'm not hideously outside their demo AND I really do listen. So, good enough for me. :D

Sorry to post this in the main thread but posted in the concert thread and got no response. Due to a family emergency, I will not be able to attend EndFest in Sacramento. I have four 3rd row seats. section FLR 1, row C, seats 11-14. My cost was $90 each. BO. PM me if interested. Sorry about your news! Wish I could take advantage of the tickets, just too far away. :(Thanks so much for your concern. I would really hate for these great seats to go to waste. They would have been the closest seats I've ever had.

As for the thank you notes your child writes, that's sweet but those are obviously for gifts and not songs being played on the radio. It's just my opinion that sending thank yous to radio stations for playing a song seems odd....now a tweet of OMG I love the song you just played wouldn't seem out of place but a thank you? yeah that sounds old to me (and I'm no spring chicken myself).

[snickers] AND I have personalized stationery!!
ETA: The rolling eyes emoticon isn't the same online as it is in person. Its mean to quickly signify situations that have an element of irony to them.
Its not the same thing as eye-rolling at your Mom..... ;D

Thank you notes for playing a song? really not appropriate and actually kind of silly. Can you imagine how much junk mail a radio station would get if they got a thank you for everytime they played a song? LOL good to know because I see it and I cringe every single time.

Regarding requesting NCOE - I was about ready to throw in the towel on my daily tweeting, texting & mediabase - until we got the directive! If there is any chance at all that NCOE can be resurrected, or that our requesting will help with single #3, I'm on it! Jazzrocks, I admit I was ready to throw in the towel too, but between: 1. Adam asking us to request 2. NCOE all of a sudden being in power rotation on FreshFM in DC 3. The iHeartRadio performances being released at the same time I definitely think there's something going on behind the scenes and our help is obviously important, as Adam said himself. If it's for NCOE, or if it's to help the next single get off the ground faster, I don't care. I am requesting like crazy!!
