Greetings from Bertlandia! (If someone does not know yet, Bertlandia means Finland) A couple of days, I've heard on the radio Aftermath, BTIKM, and several times NCOE. NCOE I've heard twice today. In the morning (NRJ: first place in the top ten) for radio announcers (both women) said that they love so much Adam Lambert. They even told, that Adam had written on Twitter, "Waking up in my own bed?! # Divine!

I still don't understand the negativity about perceived fan age, "non-organic" buying campaigns, etc. A fan is a fan, support is support, money is money. There is nothing usual about Adam--his voice, his career trajectory, his fan base--and I refuse to dismiss anyone who supports him in any way they choose.

A little OT: My dl works in DC and picks up "slugs" to ride HOV. I've convinced him to play darkside tracks from TR Deluxe driving into town and the lighter side on his way out of town. Talk about a captured audience. BTW he's had no complaints but that really gives no indication of rider approval as "slugs" have "rider rules" one of which is to remain quiet (?!). Who knew. I finally let it slip yesterday as I was talking to him that I was in town making my text requests (I don't have cell service at my house) (boonies). He's like 'what?' and I say, 'who cares, you know he's my addiction' and he just laughs and then asks, "how is OUR boy doing?' which then I proceed to tell him.......poor guy.

I have been wanting to ask this for a while and this seems like the perfect opportunity. I have been sort of barely skimming the threads since Moscow because, as many of you know, internet access in London was spotty plus I was trying to keep up with two twenty year-olds who wanted to see everything. Suffice it to say, I have had my feet up for the last few days since getting back and trying to catch up. Anyway, I did not see the awesomeness of the Dragon Attack jacket until the first night at Hammersmith. I have gleaned that it was another Blonde's jacket but where did it first show up and how did it get there? Apparently from the tweet above, it is going back to its original home (Adam is fierce in that jacket) ... but is there a story behind it? Please dish. I think that jacket was seen for the first time in Wroclaw! I do not know the story of how the jacket came to Adam. Maybe someone else knows. To quote myself in Wroclaw after the concert: I just woke up in this beautiful city Wroclaw. I had to came to tell you shortly (wifi-connection kept dropping badly and it is difficult to write with phone). I had a stroke last evening, when Adam came on stage in red jacket: I started laughing hysterically, clapping furioysly and jumping around like an idiot. I was so suprised and thrilled!!! He was so indescribably beautiful! What an wanderful evening!! [/IMG]
May I just bring over the full write-up for that, because it's pretty fuckin' amazing: 2. Adam Lambert, 'Never Close Our Eyes' Adam Lambert didn't win American Idol, but he manages to get about 50 times more attention than the last few winners combined. (Can you even name the last winner?) He's spent the summer doing overseas gigs with Queen and promoting his second LP, Trespassing. He's also rumored to be in the running to be a new judge on American Idol and that Queen tour may actually come to America someday. In the meantime, his new single "Never Close Our Eyes" has charted all around the world.

Thank you butterfly! I had exactly the same reaction when I saw him in the jacket - it was so unexpected and fun and beautiful! It made me happy.
