I am glad I am not alone in thinking Skylar was not good singing TSMGO. When the judges started praising her I thought I must not be watching the same show. IKR? THEIR PRAISE WAS SO TOTALLY OVER-THE-TOP I WAS REDUCED TO SHOUTING WTF WTF???? HAVE Y'ALL COMPLETELY LOST YOUR MINDS??? >:(  |

OK, the medly was awful. I mean really awful! Too low a key, too slow, (not Adam ) Something was really off!
I loved Elise tonight. Still not on the Phillip train. Just do not think he has a good vocie. The male/female bias of this show is never more obvious than with the judges. So sick of "Phillip is an artist" BS! Elise and Skylar both play instruments but they are never called artists. You know why? Because they are girls! And then Nigel wonders why there have been no girl winners lately. Look no further, Nigel, then the way the judges sway the audience.
Joshua was great but he does not deserve all those standing O's. It's too much and they have become meaningless!
I think Jessica might go home. Too bad her military dad couldn't have been there tonight.
Poor Ryan looked bad and even sounded weak. What a trooper!

Umm....you guys think Elise will sing WWL on tour? it seems that song was "the moment" song for her on the show, hope not but ...whatever..

Wow -- I think it will be a great tour this year. So do you think Philip will be the closing act? They keep mentioning his health issues. I wonder how that will affect him -- touring is grueling work.

I wonder how that will affect him -- touring is grueling work. My hubby recently had the kidney stone, stent, procedure, that Phillip is having. I don't understand why they do not let him have the procedure that lasers the stones so they pass. If he did it on a Friday, at his age, he would be fine by Monday. My hubby is 60 and it was instant relief and recovery for him. He would have a lot less pain than he is having with the stent being in. Basically, it's like having a stick up his penis right now! So to answer your question, as soon as he has that laser procedure done, he should be OK and ready to go. With the press the winner and runner up get after the Finale, if they don't do it now, they will have to wait until after that press cycle. So that takes it til first of June. Tour starts in July so he should be great by then. Notice they are giving him every Sunday off because he has not been in the last 3 Ford commercials. |
