I'm curious -- was Sauli at the performance and are there any pics to prove it??? Sauli, Leila, Lee and Scarlett, Alisan, and maybe Carmit were there. Security at Idol is like airport security. It would be impossible to get a camera or phone in. But there were a few Glamberts that had tickets and reported on twitter. |

Adam put on an amazing performance last night -- loved the song, the happy energy, the bright yellow neon, and the way he moved around the stage interacting with his band. So much to take in!!! I was hoping the judges would stand up, but they didn't. Whatever! The audience loved it and I really hope the audience at home did too. So it is down to Jessica and Phillip. Who doesn't think Phillip will win? -- unless Jessica get the entire US navy voting for her! I think Jessica has a chance because I'll bet she will get Joshua's fans voting for her. |

Awww, I'm glad his family was there to enjoy his performance -- I always love pics of Sauli watching Adam. I guess that really is living vicariously!!! (I can imagine myself watching Adam with "heart eyes"!)
Good point about Jessica and Joshua's votes. I wonder how many people switch like that though. It seems like a lot of work. In Adam's case, I always thought the Danny voters might have voted to deny Adam, not so much support Kris. Do you think the Joshua voters would feel as strongly about Phillip (a Georgia wgwg)?

Okay, well it would be nice if Jessica won. I'm rooting for her, but can't vote up here in Canada. No pressure for me!!! However, I will not be following her career like I have Adam's. Adam charmed his way into my life and has been so amazingly and completely entertaining and captivating ever since. What DID I do with my free time pre-Adam???!!!

Not a season 11 post, but right now the i-Tunes Top 10 has 4 Idols in it. Carrie, Kris, Haley, and Adam! Pretty cool!

Well, I like Phillip's last song a lot more than Jessica's. I wonder if he had anything to do with the writing of it.

Didn't Jimmy pick these singles for them. He did really badly for Jessica. I think Jessica can do fine with Pop, but she needs something with a bit more soul and younger lyrics. The thing about P2s last song is that, the background singers were doing most of the singing. There was one long part when it is all them! He always sounds off pitch and off the melody to me. However, I am sure he won! :  I thought the show was really boring. Really missed Joshua! |

I agree with what you said above. I just liked the actual song better than Jessica's song. And I totally agree about the show being boring. Phillip always looks and sounds the same to me, but we know that Jessica can do different types of songs and move around the stage. Last night, she just stood there and emoted! Didn't grab me like some of her past performances.
You're probably right about Phillip winning.

Meant to post this earlier and forgot! The recorded version of Jessica's song is GOOD!!! Holy cow! Ray Chu's arrangement totally messed this up for her!! Phillips Studio version (very Simon and Garfunkel to me. I was never a big S&G fan ) ^^^ Irrelevant now since Idol has their 5th WGWG in a row! ^^^ It's actually kind of funny to me!  |
