Harvey Levin @harveylevintmz We found out someone producers thought was the 1 who would win Idol will be kicked off tonite and they're trying to convince judges to save Apparently Steven said, outloud, that they were going to use the save before she even sang for her life! LOL! Nigel must have loved that!! Suspense, not! IMO, the last time someone who deserved to win, won was Season 7 with David Cook. I see a Colton/P2 Finale and it is not surprising at all. Until they stop the unlimited texting vote, the WGWG or W/Pianos will always win! |

You know I'm also wondering if it helps to get ahead if you come from a small town. It seems the whole town gets involved -- and I expect a lot of those fellow citizens are also voting. I don't think you get as much support from big city folks because there is more going on and probably most of your fellow citizens don't watch AI and have never heard of you. Big fish, little fish!
I must admit I was a bit worried for Jessica after Wednesday night. Although she did a wonderful job singing her song, it was not a familiar one, and I bet scatting is unusual to a lot of the AI audience. Also she has been receiving such effusive praise -- the producers of this show must know by now that America loves an underdog!

Jessica is the only contestant not from a small town or from the South. She is at a disadvantage with that alone!

Hah! I was also just thinking that Jessica has now been turned into an underdog. So maybe we are just being manipulated. Do we know who is in charge of making sure the voting is fair?

The brouhaha was funny at first .... JLo being such a bad actress... but poor kid... just 16 years old and in the middle of crazy AI acrobatics... Jessica is really good... but we all know she has no chances of winning... but I salute her ... many say she has no personality ..... but look at how she handled things... grace under pressure....
Memories of the time Adam was in the bottom 3 came back... ugghhh...
Memories of a comment by an entertainement writer who said she was glad that AI system was limited to voting for your favorite , , and that you are not allowed to Vote Against a contestant , otherwise , Adam Lambert would not have made it to the finale. .....

Yeah, I hate those memories too. So anyone watch AI last night. I see Adam is supporting Jessica by twitter. Are any of you voting for her? It's funny, I know that she has an amazing voice, but I don't feel that I have really connected with her personality. It seems that the behind the scenes is all about the mentoring sessions and Jimmy Iovine now and the audience doesn't get as much of a chance to get to know the contestants the way they did in Adam's season. I fell for Adam the person, as much as Adam the singer during the course of that season.
Also, I just don't get what people see in Philip??? And the country girl only seems to have one volume -- LOUD! -- and one speed -- frenzied!!!
