Carly Rose reminds me of Adam. She really does. She's been a theatre kid pretty much her whole life (all 13 years of it! LOL!) I think she may have gone on a TV show too soon. But I predict BIG things for her. The things she can do with her voice, the control are amazing!!
I have a feeling the big surprise from XF this year might be 5th Harmony.

My impression of 5th Harmony is that they won't last a year, they will go on to have individual music careers. All of them have very good voices, but I don't know if they have the inborn musical know-how of the Adams and Carlys of the world. I'm scared for Carly because she is sooooo young, although she went (like Adam) through theatre. Of course many people wanted to hold it against her for having the training that the other contestants didn't have. The industry is known to chew people older than her up, but on the other hand it does seem that her parents keep things real. Like Adam she will get an album out quickly and then do something on her own. I'm sorry, I can't see Tate being a worldwide artist. Another one who impressed me but also needs time to develop is Diamond White. Even her name gives the impression of an artist  I really hope in time she will bloom, she's got huge potential |

I loved Diamond White!! Her look reminded me so much of a young Whitney! Her song choices, by Britney, were bad though. I actually think Britney's song choices or the producers or whoever really chose them, did a disservice to Carly. She needed some young songs, at least a few, and they kept giving her heavy ballads! And if LeAnn Rhimes wasn't throwing her under the bus, I don't know what was! But why? Did they want Tate to win? :-/ |
