What is it with all the old stuff being posted here? Don't get me wrong, I love the freckles and could watch Adam on AI8 for hours, but whenever I see a new entry I'm getting all excited like "yeah, neeeeeews"........ I want NEW pictures *entitled* ;D  Adam!! Come out, come out, whereever you are! it's not old for everyone...a lot of these are new to me..guess I haven't seen everything Adam Yes, the same here. |

ABC's treatment of Adam v. Brown seems strange and inconsistent indeed. However, the blogs and articles highlighting this point have conveniently forgotten/ignored that there was more to Adam's performance that people objected to than the male-male kiss (simulated oral sex, trolley stop). While there were other performances on the AMA that were equally sexual, I don't think it is appropriate for people to argue that Adam's ban from ABC was just because of the kiss. That's just plain inaccurate. Are they "conveniently" forgetting this to give more credence to their argument? You are right that it was more than the kiss but the trolley stop and in your face male to male crotch. THat being said, I still think slapping a women till she is black and blue is far worse than his sexual performance. It is obivous that he has cooled down his temper. That's what I have a problem with. That ABC wanted to make nicey-nice w/him. I refuse to watch DWTS stars next week as he is their guest artist. And yes I voiced my complaint and received the same generic response everyone else got. HEY...... There is no comparison. My minor point is that I'm just wishing that people would be more truthful in their comparisons. By NOT mentioning the other more sexual acts, writers are, in my opinion, adding to the sensationalism. They are trying to sway opinions by omitting important information. I object to it in this case as well as when politicians and other people with causes do it. :D |

Hee, I got it. Now that lindy explained why she posts random old stuff, I'm good 8-) I never get tired of the lip freckle picture, this is the first time I could count the freckles..(old eyes can't see too well) besides, if we didn't have old pictures and videos to post, we wouldn't have anything on these pages to look at except Happy Birthday wishes |

Great month for birthdays. Hope Sauli will be in LA to celebrate. Maybe we will get pictures. But for today :  Glamnana and Carolinelady74I took a friend to the airport this morning and blasted my Glamnation CD all the way home.  I thought I'd get to bed early last night so I could make the very early run to airport, but just had to watch DVD and fail...so much for sleep. nica575 yes, that is a picture of our touqouise-shorted Rock God...love it. I have not received the signed photo for Charitywater donation. Has everyone received theirs? I sent my address in quite awhile ago. |

Why else would that woman's costume have a convenient ring pull on the crotch? I also recall that right after the performance, there was far more talk about the kiss--by both pro- and anti-Adam forces--than about the simulated oral sex move. The kiss has always gotten more attention. So when people talk about it more now, it's because people talked about it more then. Personally, I always thought it was ridiculous to say "simulated oral sex move" anyway. Nobody would have oral sex if that was all there was to it. Sure, that's what it was intended to suggest, but it was fleeting and fully-clothed, so it wasn't all that salacious. I'm with Adam, who said several times afterward he was stunned that people made such a big deal out of it. The bottom line is still that Adam's behavior in that performance was far less offensive than Chris Brown's behavior, and Adam was punished while Brown is rewarded. There can't be any justification for that. As far as I'm concerned, GMA owes Adam an appearance and an apology. But I ain't holding my breath. |

And as long as we do not get new ones I am happy to catch up with everything! I am spending some days on an island in Spain - Mallorca - and we were sitting at the beach enjoying some beers and suddenly I heard a very familiar, lovable voice on the radio singing WWFM....I squeed, hubby rolled his eyes and friends were ??? Happy Birthday Glamnana & Carolinalady74! Enjoy your day with family and friends! |

I don't think any of us have forgotten or are ignoring the simulated sex in Adam's performance. I think we all know that it wasn't just about the kissing part. The "kiss" is more of a shorthand reference for it all and I don't feel like I'm being dishonest when I use it that way. |

Adam is a diamond, a brilliant diamond, with so many facets...here's a 98-facet diamond that's got nothing on bb!  MWP, I had saved the link to the vid you posted, but not taken time to listen to it yet...it's FANTASTIC! I saw the grass turn green on Mon.=first day of SPRING, which makes me SOOOO happy. Anyone who hasn't taken time to see this vid yet...check it out! THIS is the first music I've heard by a young person that I would actually want to buy! But this DVD...well, it makes me want bigger/better! And, Lindy I'm glad you posted S8 Top10 group--I watched opening number last night, and OMG, no comparison. None. And I think that's a valid objective opinion, as I hadn't watched that group performance since the night of. It was a FRESH reminder that S8 was GR8! Okay, off to the next interview in just a few...BRING IT ON!
