SWV "Do Ya" about whom Adam tweeted goo.gl/9m57i(Scroll down to Soundcloud link. It gets way less hip hoppy after intro)

Newly uploaded London 3 "Who Wants To Live Forever" (also posted on the July14 thread) Published on Jul 22, 2012 by mia177mia WOW!! Just perfection. I love the videos from this channel (Mia177mia) because of the angle and audio. I thought I had watched all of the videos but missed her I Want to Break Free from London 3. It has more of that Brian guitar solo at the beginning which I just love. It also has security helping him up to the stage which most of the others do not because she keeps the focus on Adam !

I've seen a few posts and posts of tweets about security. As some of you know my other half is a bodyguard and runs security for big events and venues (he's the guy who gets called when the situation escalates beyond what the regular security people can deal with). So please scroll if you aren't interested but I needed to say this in defense of the security guys who have a tough job often made tougher. The situation last night is a security nightmare. No warning, fans who feel they are "entitled" to be wherever they want to be because the artist said something on stage, an artist who is creating a bad situation (and yes in this case Adam was in the wrong to first tell people to come down front at a seated concert and then to ad hoc jump into the crowd). Security are not just there to keep the artist safe (sometimes from themselves), they are there to keep audience under control (because things can get out of control pretty fast) and are there to make sure the rules of the venue are followed, and to make sure everyone has a good time (not just you). They can in certain circumstances shut down a show if they think things are getting out of control. They are not there with the particular goal of making your life difficult but they sure can if pushed. In short they have a job to do and are just trying to do it. Sure some of them can be asses and my guy has those people turfed off his teams pretty fast, but you should hear some of the stories I hear about the way people behave at concerts – like the price of a ticket has given them the right to behave like petulant 3 year olds in the midst of a temper tantrum when they don't get their way. Not saying that was the case here, but next time you are at a concert and a security person tells you to do something, it's not personal, they aren't picking on you in particular, they are usually just trying to do their job. I must agree with you. I have a few police officers in my familly and they all said exactly the same thing.

Hmm weird. Anyone else having problems? I tried logging out and seeing if I could and it worked for me... I apologize but could you re-post the name of the software you said was easy for converting to MP3. I thought I bookmarked it so I could spend a couple of my days off converting but not don't know what I did with it.

Hi, everyone! Well, my intrepid partner Tom and I are back from Fantasy Springs. Not sure where to put this recap, so if it's in the wrong place, I apologize. Please let me know if you want me to move it. Here are my observations. We'll call them the Good, the Not-So-Good, and the Sweet. The Good- As everyone has said so far, Adam was awesome (no surprise). He sounded great, and he was clearly having a great time. What really struck me is how comfortable he is just being himself on stage -- I think his confidence and power has really grown over the past 2 years through the GNT and then Queen. He is also, above all, one of the most joyful performers I have ever seen, and it is impossible not to feel that joy when he is on the stage. - Adam and his band and the back-up singers have mad love for each other. Watching all of them interact on the stage together, you can see they clearly have professional respect and great personal affection for each other. It was also nice to see Tommy and Ashley interact more with Adam and each other both at Costa Mesa and FS. I think the whole group has found a real comfort level on stage and it's really fun and lovely to see. - Statement of the obvious -- Adam really loves his fans. The genuine love and affection that we have for Adam is returned in equal measure by him. Sigh! The Not-So-Good(Caveat: I realize that these observations could vary depending on where you sat in the FS facility. We sat in the risers to the right of the stage. Peeps on the floor probably had a different experience.)- FS is not a concert facility -- it's a large meeting room. I felt like I was sitting in my high school gym. Not my favorite place for a concert by a long shot. The feeling of connection with Adam and with our fellow concert-goers was pretty poor where we were sitting. The Pac Amp, which is more than twice the size, felt more intimate than the FS room. This may have affected the people around us -- most of them seemed to be having a good time, but they mainly sat and clapped. We were among the few on our feet and dancing. - The sound quality was not good. It was loud, and Adam came through clearly, but the mix was murky. It was hard to hear the bass and keyboards at time. Quite a come-down from the Pac Amp on Thursday. The Sweet- After the concert, we sat by the pool to get some fresh (albeit very hot) air. When we walked back to the lobby, we saw Tommy and Ashley talking with the fans in the lobby. They were there quite a while, talking and taking pictures. We also saw Keisha, Renee, Brian and Isaac as they were leaving, and we spoke to them briefly to say thanks for the great concert. All of these people seem to be very sweet -- Adam has surrounded himself with wonderful people. - With the exception of Keisha and Renee, who are really beautiful, the band members are pocket people. They are all very attractive (Ashley is gorgeous -- I have a girl crush on her), but very short and petite. I guess Adam likes to be the HBIC and the tallest one on stage. ;D So that's it -- Adam is awesome, the band and back-up singers are great, FS is a lousy place for a concert, but it was definitely worth the cost and the 5-hour (round-trip) drive.

TO anyone who was lucky enough to be there last night When Adam requested/ordered the $ high rollers to shut the fuck up and stand up, did you notice if those high rollers obeyed his command? or maybe it wasn't their type of music. Inquiring minds want to know. I did hear quite a few screams of a few vid's from "tweenies" just love it! I am still enroute home and will post something longer tomorrow. They all got right up like an electric shock when through them. Some were really rocking it out. But as time went by many started to sit again. I think that might be part of why Adam wanted his own fans up there around him. More later

Of all the Adam concerts that I did not attend, FS2 is top of my kick me list! It was impossible for me to get there but I so wish I had gone.

Adam Lambert @adamlambert Listening: SWV 's new "DO YA" sang it ladies! Another reason Adam would be great as an AI judge. He listens to everything, old and new, all genres. He really takes his profession seriously in that regard - as well as loving it like crazy... Also wanted to mention - in the interview in Sacramento, when asked what he learned from Queen, he said he realized they were doing this just for the joy of it. As many details as there are about the business to take care of, it's important to remember that. So maybe that was on his mind when he knew he was in a place where he could just let loose... with his fans and his music.
