There were comments that it was a "hot mess"???? Really? Who would think that other than pearl clutchers or FOOs?
After seeing the vids (even without great sound) I am putting this concert ABOVE WILKES BARRE!!!! And that's saying a lot. I agree with you on this being above WB and that was an amazing concert. I can't wait for some better audio because the vocal performance of some of these songs is my fav. I did not think he could top the Ste. Agathe OOL but I believe he did that last night. I am still trying to take it all in.

I was waiting for the adrenaline to subside, for the buzz to wear off, but in vain. I'm still in the grip of Fantasy Spring's wonderwall. My CoralMermaid audio/Lambertlust video-based, conclusions: Last night, it felt like Adam loved us more than we loved him. You don't give what he gave. You simply don't. Nowadays, nobody risks being that open. He dived from the barrier which separates the public from the private, the mundane from the transcendent reality. In doing so, he was victorious. He was so there, exposed, seemingly vulnerable, but no, he looked like he understood that nothing from the outside could hurt him. He felt untouchable. Safe on the inside, he was invincible. In spite of all the improvisation, there was a plan behind all this, i.e. I could tell he wanted to make the experience spectacular. And what did he do: he made it fluffy and carefree, breezy and nonchallant. He did it with the adorable reckless abandon, no boundaries, no secrets. Deprived of all the frivolity of words and ideas like punctual or exact or correct, he touched the perfection. I know nothing about keys and shit, but his voice was soaring last night, he barely broke a sweat. If CM concert was dancing in his lounge, this felt like playing in his playroom, with him. He touched his fans last night, as if he wanted to shake them and say ' Come play with me, it's all right, you can, I want you to' It showed that he feels the same about the first FS concert as we do. He simply had to climb that Q3's spiral, and instead of trying to repeat the WLL's magic, or giving us some surprise cover, he gave us his most playful, open self. It freaked me out, I gotta say. I felt like I got all my Christmas presents five monts ahead and the permission to open them NOW. My heart is still beating like a jungle-freaking-drum. The highlights of the evening, for me: the silencing OOL and the daft Cuckoo, by far. Although the whole concert was brilliant. I'm still scraping my jaw off the floor. Oh, and he ADORES his band, I have to say.

It seems like the whole fandom is still engulfed in the brilliance of last night's concert.

I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes I wonder if "someone" occasionally checks for YouTubes to see how their boy is doing. Then they nod and smile. 8-) 8-)

My words are simple --- "I will NOT miss another AFL concert in Fantasy Springs!" Twice burned, now more determined than ever to make the next show.
