They will not put a black country dude there. That's not how the suits roll~~  Sadly, this is probably true. AI barely lets black contestants into the top 24, unless they fit into certain genres. With the ratings slipping every year, I wonder if TPTB will stick to "safe"? They might be scared that Adam wouldn't appease their conservative viewers, which seems to be a large percentage of the overall viewing demo. :( |

Crap, I was just checking Dawnmist for new audio downloads and found her Mediafire account has been suspended. terra tweeted about her Mediafire account being suspended a few days ago. (terra was/is trying to replace her files.) Devenlane's account is ok. I've listed about a zillion links that aren't going to work anymore.  That sucks :( On the bright side, you're looking very attractive today This new avi is hot. |

Darius is now a big country music star but was formerly a big pop/rock star as the lead singer of Hootie and the Blow Fish. I think Darius is a BRILLIANT choice. Just so you all know, the Darius Rucker discussion came from people on twitter talking about good Country stars. It did not come from Idol or any news source. Of course, because Idol/FOX is not smart enough to get Darius and Adam! : I don't hold out a lot of hope that they will be smart enough to get one competent and interestig judge much less two of them |
