Drakius...thank you so very much for your incredible generosity. I have not yet received the DVD but know it will arrive soon - so excited to spend the weekend and forever more with it! :-) In your honor, I have donated some camp gear for OUTDoors! Camp which is sponsored by 1n10 and gives LGBTQ youth all over the US (and some youth from Canada and Mexico) the opportunity to experience all the positive outcomes of a camping experience - in the words of camp director Kado Stewart, it is focused on helping the youth "develop leadership skills, work in collaborative ways, and develop a strong sense of self and community". Last year, many Adam fans contributed to Camp needs - if anyone wants to send an item - here is the link to REI gift registry. www.rei.com/GiftRegistryDetails/GR2840673?cm_mmc=gift_reg-_-Outdoor_Adventure-_-announce-_-25Jul2012 Drakius, I have to say it one more time...so thankful for your kindness!

A quick update on Adam’s concert at the AZ State Fair in October. The State Fair box office is going to work with 1n10 to secure blocks of seats for approximately 30-35 youth.
So far, through the helpful ideas and support of graciejane, JustKaren, diamondlil and BlackAndYellow (and others) there are commitments for about 15 tickets so far.
If anyone would like to participate in this effort to support 1n10 youth to attend Adam’s concert, the reserved tickets are $20 each. There are hundreds of young people served by 1n10 and only a limited number of tickets, so the staff will come up with a way to select the youth to attend the concert (e.g. recognition, prizes).
If you are interested in supporting a youth to attend Adam’s concert, please send me a direct message and I will let you know where to send the money for the tickets. If you would like to contribute a few dollars towards transportation (bus or light rail tickets) that would be great too. An as always, your kind thoughts and just checking out the onenten.org website to acknowledge the youth means a lot too.
I am still working on the process with 1n10, so it may take me a few days or more to respond to any direct messages.
Thanks so much to all that are able to support this little project to bring some joy in the form of Adam’s amazing music to these awesome young people.

Thank you for your willingness/interest to support the 1n10 youth to attend Adam's upcoming concert at the Arizona State Fair on October 17. I will work with Molly at 1n10 to purchase the tickets. It would be great if Molly could receive the ticket donations by September 12. The tickets go on sale on September 15. The tickets are $20.00 each for reserved seating. We are hoping to sponsor 30-35 youth. You can send a check or cash to the address below, with a note indicating that this is a donation for the AZ State Fair ticket purchase. one n ten c/o Molly Stump 2700 North 3rd Street Suite #2011 Phoenix, AZ 85004 (602) 400-2601 (this is the office phone #) Office Manager/Molly Stump You can also send the donation online through PayPal at onenten.org/ If you do this, send Molly an email molly@onenten.org to let her know that the donation is for the tickets. Some fans may decide to send $5.00 for the light rail or bus tickets, if they are not able to purchase a ticket. I would like to keep count of how many tickets 1n10 will be able to purchase so if okay with you, please update me when you send your donation. It will mean so much to the youth to see the most precious and amazing Adam in concert. :-)

"First and foremost, I have learned that Adam fans are some of the most creative, caring and interesting women and men I have ever met." Q3 - September 23, 2012
And to confirm Q3's insight, fans of Adam - Adamtopians extraordinaire - have cared so much that 35 reserved seats for Adam's concert at the AZ State Fair have been purchased for the 1n10 youth. The youth will be able to sit in close proximity...and there are enough donations to cover fair admission and light rail / bus transportation. Some of the awesome staff will accompany the youth as well.
Thank you to those who made this possible, and to everyone who took an interest by sending ideas or good thoughts. We cannot measure how much this will mean to the youth, or the impact it will have in their lives. However, it seems to me that the wonder of Adam and his music, along with the love and kindness woven into this by all of you. will create a wonderful experience and happy memories. And that means a lot :-)
In the words of 1n10 staff "This is amazing....what an outpouring of support from Adam Lambert’s fans".
There are a couple of ideas floating about (such as a tour of 1n10 for those in town) - will provide updates soon.
