Q3, what concert sold out? WinStar classified it as sold out on the night of the concert -- but we have no idea how many tickets were comped and they could have sold more tickets. ETA: A "sold out" concert is based on the venue definition. For example, there were tickets available for all three Hammersmith concerts -- standing back of Mezzanine, limited view, 70 pounds/apx $135. These concerts were classified as sold out. Single seats, obstructed seats, etc. do not count. So "sold out" is not usually 100% sold.

I counted 400 seats available a few days before, but those could have easily gone to guests at the last minute. I would classify, 400 seats left as SOLD OUT anyway, for a venue that size!

I called them right before the concert and they said a lot sold on the day of the concert at the box office. In any case, they classified it as Sold Out -- and I will list it as SO on my speadsheet -- but with a note that tickets were available when concert started.
