Am I missing something? They already announced it was Jessie J who will be singing with Queen (She is British). Why are people still speculating? I have been away so I'm wondering if I missed something. It's wishful thinking!  It's pretty obvious that the UK is going with artists, music and stories that highlights their country. They have a rich musical history and they have plenty of current artists from the UK that can perform music from the past and present. ITA -- there are so many amazing UK artists and this is the UK's moment. I do not expect to see any American in the Closing Ceremony. If any American was part of it, they/the organizing committee/the associated band would be subject to massive criticism. -- I think most fans recognize that Adam will not perform with Queen at the London Olympics but some continue to speculate and wish. I prefer to be more realistic. |

Thank You!  Just wanted to hear him say it, so I can justify my cray speculations to myself! LOL He says, "...but don't you worry, I'm coming back." Then he refers to coming back to this part of the country. Even though he says "I" not "we", it sounds like he is referring to performing/concerts, but he never says it and he is a bit cryptic. Hence the Idol judge rumor gets more support. And with the judges round in Oklahoma City becomes part of the speculation. |

Speaking of airport^^^ I wonder what airport they fly out of? I couldn't find any non-stops from Des Moines to Lax? But I also couldn't find any other major cities nearby. :-/ So, it would appear they might have to go through either Denver or Phoenix.

Q3’s Lists of Adam-worthy RumorsWell, if we gonna just make stuff up, let’s at least make it fabulous and fantastic. 1. Sir Richard Branson heard about the Queen + Adam Lambert shows in London and called Adam to ask him to perform on the moon. He will depart from Spaceport America in New Mexico on August 1, 2012 and return to earth on August 11, 2012. Adam offered to bring his own oxygen tank. 2. James Cameron is producing a 3-D version of Wayne’s world and is talking to Adam’s management about having Adam perform “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Brian May and Roger Taylor are on board already. And, John Deacon has said he will come out of retirement to do this film if Adam agrees to participate. 3. I have learned from someone close to Adam, I can’t tell you who it is but trust me, that Adam has been writing a young adult series of books about a young man’s quest for fame as a singer and performer. Scholastic Books has offered $5 million for the rights. Adam’s management is negotiating. 4. Idol and Adam are indeed talking. Idol offered Adam a new position with the show – the Judge of Last Resort. The Judge of Last Resort has the final say and before someone is eliminated from Idol, can save the contestant. Everything is agreed upon except the clothing allowance. 5. Adam will be coming out with a men’s clothing line. The line is notable for the limited color palette – just four basic colors: black (OK I did not need to be a psychic.), gray, red and white. Plus, leopard print, metallic zebra stripes and a distinctive star print. 6. Adam is working on a country album – in the style of Roy Orbison – operatic country music. He played tracks of this new, unreleased album for Kevin Reilly, President of Fox Entertainment Group, Inc. and the deal was done. The show lasts for 5 hours, gets critical acclaim and a bunch of awards. Adam gets signed as a host of his own TV show. 11. He gets an invitation to sing at the White House. Fans keep guessing what he will sing. Adam surprises everyone by doing Nessun Dorma from Turandot. The pictures of the presidential family and guests in tears circle the globe. Adam steals the 'show' once again, showing that his star will always outshine all the others. 12. Adam gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the extra special touch of glitter on it. Am totally enjoying the "predictions" - great imagination Q3 and Aleksandra! HOWEVER, I predict that within the next few years parts of these fabulous predictions will come true... or at least things similar. ;D Random thoughts... The video of Dragon Attack (London 2) is terrific. I have been watching the Kiev concert a lot (that TV video is such a gift!) and the performance of DA in that is soo different. They are both wonderful in their own ways. I know Adam evolves quickly, but have to wonder if part of the difference in the DAs is the Jacket... and how it makes him feel when he wears it. Along those same lines, it seems the Red Pants may have a similar effect. To those advocating that he wear them together... Do you really think it is wise??? We could all be blown to kingdom come! ;D ??? ;D |

Sometimes when Adam is interviewing it is not what he says but how he says it. I can't find an interview where he says definitely "No I won't be singing at the Olympics". He does a variation on being a British citizen to do so. Little things like where he throws away a line, don't worry , guys, I'M COMING BACK ... I promise...there's more to come.." can say a lot. I don't think Adam will be singing with Queen in the Olympics due to that setlist leak that has JJ.
However, I still say that since Queen is British, who they choose as their guest singer doesn't really matter. But also (I sound so bipolar right now) for me, it's not a big deal. It will probably be one song and that's it.
Probably way more important that he gets to Japan and blows their socks off with his own music!!
ETA: Yes, grandduchess! I agree! What Adam doesn't say is always important. He is sly that way!! (Like the Map and Chokehold tweets. I still say, not random!)

Actually , I genuily believe with all my heart that at least some of these
'crazy predictions" will eventually come true . or maybe similar things will take place , cause you know , i have this really STRONG feeling , that HUGE , SPECTACULAR things are about to take place . and I've never been this optimistic in my life .
