Here's why I'll be THRILLED with Cuckoo: THE FAAAACES!!!! With every live performance I'll look forward to pics from Seoulmate titled "Just look at his little FAAAAAAAAACE" ;D ;D ;D lmaoooooooooooooooo......... mwp, yesterday I started saving all the cute little faces from the M&G in Des Moines, and I was just about to post them, and I thought, "seoulmate, you have to stop being 12 yrs old."  BUT JUST LOOKIT HIS LITTLE FAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    ;D ;D ;D |

Phew, why do you think that? There is nothing like Trespassing on top 40 now and radio tends to trend in one direction for their play. Trespassing is more rock anthem. Summer is winding slowly down so the lightweight songs should be moving out ie that Carly Rae horror. Sorry, but the "this is what radio is playing now" argument doesn't wash with me anymore. I used to be on that train, but not since NCOE! RCA needs to release something that is unique and something that is pure Adam! Trespassing is one of those songs! Like I said earlier..... everything left represents Adam and the album. So whatever they choose now, will be a good choice. I am betting on Cuckoo. At least, if he goes down now, at least he goes down being himself!! ETA: And radio is full of unique songs right now. The Carly song being one of them, IMO. |

Seoulmate:  Your comments made me giggle so loud that my family is side eyeing me!!! The rest of the story....I was surrounded by 5 beautiful, well-behaved kids under 10. Since I created my own little dance/singing party, I guess I was quasi-entertaining since the three year old turned around and was watching me instead of Adam at one point. I guess I was also pretty loud too because the 6 year was putting his fingers in his ears to block out the sound.  Being the well-balanced adult that I am, I just assumed that it wasn't me, but the distortion and loudness emanating from the speaker! In my infinite wisdom, I predict that the next single is....Cuckoo!!!
Although.... In my head, I see a great video for Naked Love where Adam lovingly spoofs his fandom's penchant for BSC stanning. It would be hilarious to highlight all of our naked love without us being naked!

How about Adam/RCA release his new single, Cuckoo, next week on the same day American Idol issues a formal press release saying that he's a new judge on AI. Then the single gets an off to a good start bump due to the Idol buzz. Adam gets on all the TV talk shows because of the judge buzz - he gets to perform Cuckoo AND he gets to sit on the couch and say words. While Brian May is in Costa Mesa this week, he, Adam and Adam's people will meet and Brian will do a stereoptic 3-D photoshoot of Adam to be published in Rolling Stone, etc. One of the pics will be of Adam by a train, tying in the Cuckoo Crazy Train. More buzz! Right at Halloween, Adam's PLL episode will air. As we've already heard, it takes place aboard The Crazy Train. In an innovative cross-promotional move, RCA has already negotiated with PLL producers to use some of that footage as part of the MV for Cuckoo. The MV will have a huge built-in PLL audience of young teen girls. All of whom WILL buy the single, and continue to demand radio play, pushing the single to #1 on BB pop chart. This will fuel RCA's promo push for Grammy nominations for Cuckoo and the Trespassing CD. Adam will have two live performances on the Grammy Awards show in February, one of Cuckoo, and one with Queen (who will be getting some kind of lifetime achievement award that night). Of course, Adam will win at least two Grammys. In honor of all that great stuff that could happen, ATOP decides to permanently retire these two smilie emoticons: :2tears:  |

Headed home for a much needed week off!!! *exhale Yay!! So happy he gets some down time! He deserves it! Sauli said it took him a week to get over his jet lag, but Adam has still been traveling. The guys need some much deserved quiet, non travel time together. ETA: Notice he said "a week off." He actually has 2 weeks before he would have to leave for Japan, soooooooo maybe week of August 6th is Idol announcement week!
