Late to the party, but I have to say how extaticly happy I am for the third single, for Adam, for his whole future which seems so bright right now.
I have a couple of questions:
1. A lot of people claimed that if the two singles flopped, he would never get to release the third single. So, why DID he get that opportunity?
2. I am trying to pinpoint the exact moment when the angsting over poor radio play of NCOE and the whole negativity turned into positivity, even before he announced the third single news. Is it the Queenbert? Is it Adam's happiness, which is very contagious? Is it the incessant string of great news about Adam? Idk.
Augenpoesie, I agree with you about NL. It's an average song. All the other songs are superb. But, whichever song gets to be the third single, it will get my fervent support, click-clickity-click... Team #Cuckoo myself.
Joko, WELCOME TO ADAMTOPIA!!!

I'm really hoping the next single isn't Naked Love because it is one of only 3 songs on the album that Adam doesn't have a writing credit on, the other 2 being BTIKM and NCOE.
IMHO it just wouldn't be cool for ALL the singles to be the only songs Adam didn't write, especially when there are so many better songs that he did have a hand in writing! Cuckoo, Shady, Pop That Lock, Trespassing would all be great choices and would reflect Adam's unique artistic vision. YMMV.

Impossible Yes I know, but everyone I play it to becomes an immediate Adam convert, even if they have never heard him before !! Runnin' is my wish too ... My 14 year old Grandson got an iTunes gift card for his birthday ... bought one song, Runnin' ... and spent the rest on games. It's a winner everywhere but radio ... :(

HAHA! I never noticed that there were happy tears and sad tears. Okay, we definitely keep the happy tears. In the meantime, while we wait for all this stuff to happen, we rename the sad tears emoticon to *wank*, due to the fact that it almost always accompanies *wank*. Almost everytime I see the guy, I know I'm going to end up wanting to post the : guy. Sometimes it's hard not to!

How about Adam/RCA release his new single, Cuckoo, next week on the same day American Idol issues a formal press release saying that he's a new judge on AI. Then the single gets an off to a good start bump due to the Idol buzz. Adam gets on all the TV talk shows because of the judge buzz - he gets to perform Cuckoo AND he gets to sit on the couch and say words. While Brian May is in Costa Mesa this week, he, Adam and Adam's people will meet and Brian will do a stereoptic 3-D photoshoot of Adam to be published in Rolling Stone, etc. One of the pics will be of Adam by a train, tying in the Cuckoo Crazy Train. More buzz! Right at Halloween, Adam's PLL episode will air. As we've already heard, it takes place aboard The Crazy Train. In an innovative cross-promotional move, RCA has already negotiated with PLL producers to use some of that footage as part of the MV for Cuckoo. The MV will have a huge built-in PLL audience of young teen girls. All of whom WILL buy the single, and continue to demand radio play, pushing the single to #1 on BB pop chart. This will fuel RCA's promo push for Grammy nominations for Cuckoo and the Trespassing CD. Adam will have two live performances on the Grammy Awards show in February, one of Cuckoo, and one with Queen (who will be getting some kind of lifetime achievement award that night). Of course, Adam will win at least two Grammys. In honor of all that great stuff that could happen, ATOP decides to permanently retire these two smilie emoticons: YES I LUV THIS! Thank U for putting this out to the universe!

www.mb.com.ph/articles/367779/american-idols-on-a-roll‘American Idols’ On A Roll Not acing the tilt but coming out like the winner is “American Idol” season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert. The 32-year-old San Diego, California-raised singer cornered his own niché in the pop scene amongst other “Idol” winners when he opted for a more dance and club-centric sound, starting with his 2009 debut “For Your Entertainment.” That and edgy fashion worn with attitude fit the theatre-trained performer to a T. Lambert’s association with classic-rock band Queen is still evident in “Trespassing’s” opener, with ace club-hip hop producer Pharrell Williams supplying “Another One Bites The Dust” – like beats in the title track “Trespassing,” with Lambert’s lines delivered with flamboyance that would make the late Freddie Mercury proud. Williams also scores the looping, elongated bass-lines that adorn the electro-club track “Kickin’ In.” Producer Nile Rodgers, meanwhile, supplies the former “AI” favorite’s funky cool Rodgers-featured track “Shady” with some swamp-sounding funk riffs culled from Stevie Wonder’s book of “Superstition.” And then singer-songwriter Bruno Mars also lends his talents in a party-all-night pop tale, “Never Close Your Eyes.” With a beefy 15 tracks in this new set, Lambert’s purpose is clear: He’s gonna party and he’s gonna take you along for the ride.
