OMFG a new single!!!!!!!! :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: I went out all day thinking it was going to be a slow day in Adam world, but I should have known better. He cannot leave us without something to talk about while he takes some time off :D I would like the single to be Shady, Trespassing, Cuckoo, kickin in or Pop that Lock. Any of them would make me happy. In fact, I love all the songs in the album including the bonus tracks. The only song I don´t really like is NCOE  - I love all the wishful thoughts you guys are throwing to the universe  I trully enjoy reading all the recaps of the shows and watching the videos and pics that are posted here. Unfortunately, due several RL difficulties in the last years I have not been able to see Adam live, and the closest thing I have had are your generous sharing. I miss attending the concerts, but I also miss the opportunity to meet you guys. I think I know some of you from your posts. I have a game I play with myself. I read the posts without looking at the names or the avis and I try to guess who wrote the posts, and very very often I am right in my guesses. I hope to see Adam and meet some of you in a very near future. In the meantime, thanks to all who make this place a wonderful community  |

Neon Trees performed at New NowNext also. Adam probably met them there. They sounded really good live. Their energy was fantastic! Everyone I was with really like them! Their single really took offf too! Oh, and I may add, it is not what Top 40 typically plays. IMO, they have a real throwback sound. I also think Karmin has a throwback/retro sound too. I think Adele made that popular right now, which is why i think Shady could totally work on Top 40.
adamme, I totally agree, but my understanding of suits in the corporate world is that they like to blame lots of things besides their bad decisions!
I have a question, I have seen on here and Twitter that people are saying Adam performed Cuckoo and Trespassing for PLL. How do we know that? I don't remember seeing confimation of that anywhere. :-/

Even if Adam never releases Runnin as a single, I wish he would sing it at his concerts. I love every one of his bonus songs. I play them over and over all day. At night I listen to his concert songs, but I love every last one of his bonus songs, especially Runnin. All you Runnin gals, what draws you to Runnin? I think it is Adam's lower register. His voice sounds so mysterious and sexy at the beginning and then it just keeps peaking and peaking until you are drawn into his emotion. I think it is an amazing arrangement for a beautiful song. No surprise, I think we'll get Cuckoo just because that's the song he's picked to introduce the band too over the recent haul. That's what he did when IIHY was the single during GNT.
I so hope he's already inked a deal with Idol and they are just holding it for the right time to release. Me thinks they may want to time it for after the 2nd judge is announced and then have Adam taking over Randy's spot which would go along with both lower cost option and continuity with the past.
Loved how even during the radio interview yesterday he's pimping other acts. Nobody can accuse him of being a johnny come lately to the art of knowing current music, connecting to current musicians, or of playing up to the big boys/girls. He's done it for his entire public life since Idol and I think a lot of us wondered at first why and if he expected something back, but nope. Conscious decision on his part I think to embrace a consistent pay it forward mentality.

Holy SHIT!! THAT NOTE AT 2:20!!!!! dancygeorgia - please say you recorded all the rest and just haven't uploaded yet!!! Yes I have it all. I am traveling home today after visiting with my brother & sister.It will be a day or two before I have the rest uploaded. Then I will updoad audio files also. My sister came with me to the WinStar. It was her first Adam concert and she loved it. |

IMO, releasing a 3rd single, shows a commitment by RCA for this album. Many albums never get 3 singles, especially after 2 have basically failed on radio. Even FYE didn't get a 3rd single here. Or rather looking at as a 3rd single, it's actually more like a lead single for the relaunch of TSP the way it was intended in the first place. "let's scratch everything so far and start fresh"! I swear that was said inside the RCA's boardroom meeting  , or I hope! |
