No numbers but Trespassing is still on the Top Current Albums chart this week and NCOE still moving up on Dance chart. Top Current Albums 174 151 11 Trespassing, Adam Lambert NCOE Hot Dance Club Play 14 18 6 Never Close Our Eyes, Adam Lambert Since the actuall BB posting on their web site runs a week behind, I think those are from last week's numbers.

People from different countries and cultural backgrounds tend to have different connections and appreciation in regards to music, it would be great, but rare, to have a universal hit. With that being said, yes, I agree Adam does need a hit in the U.S., especially when the other major western markets practically breathe the same "Pop air" as the U.S.!

It means it is the 10th most requested song in Dance Clubs! Which probably means that if it had been played in a higher rotation (power rotation) at most radio stations, it would indeed have caught on. :-/

Cool indeed! Do we know for sure if this is the remix charting or the album version?
I went to my usual dance joint this past weekend and the DJ played the album version, which needless to say I was all screaming, acting like any blue-blooded glambert would when Adam's songs were playing on the dance floor; and of course, I got a few stares and side glances too ). But, I didn't get a chance (or sober enough to remember hey, it's a girls night out!) to ask the DJ about the remix.

Wow! That is fantastic! I thought all along it had to be a remix version 'cuz the album version was just a tad slower on the beat than most of the stuff on the dance floor. Though, not a big fan of NCOE, I can totally see how this song would fit in a rave party.

It's cool! It means it is the 10th most requested song in Dance Clubs! Which probably means that if it had been played in a higher rotation (power rotation) at most radio stations, it would indeed have caught on. :-/ So the "it's the song, it's just not catching on with people" is being revised to it wasn't played enough to seep into people's consciousness. This is how I've always felt. Not going to beat a dead horse, but even the few times Q102 played it in prime time (according to others as I never heard it) was never enough to make an impact with listeners. Proof is that Home song that people are hearing over & over at the Olympics and zoomed up the iTunes chart. Repetition is the key imo.
