Based on the rumors flying around the web, this appears to be Idol decision week with an announcement in about a week. I still believe that Adam is a long-shot but on the list. And, I still have mixed feelings about that. BUT I have to observe that he is in LA this week.
Some fans have taken the announcement of a new single as related to Idol but that was planned long before the Idol rumors even surfaced. Not a related decision as far as I can tell.
However, the timing of the announcements is curious.
Note: I still consider Adam to be a long-shot as a judge but since there has been discussion about Randy possibly having a different role, perhaps they are adding something like permanent mentors and there could be more opportunities than we have been considering.

It is my DH's birthday this Sunday. I asked him what he wanted. He said simply "For you not to talk about Adam Lambert for the whole day." :( It's gonna be tough....

I think there are just lots of rumors flying around. I do believe he has gotten the idol gig because of his statement about he, himself coming back to Texas and Oklahoma soon. I choose to believe he has it. If he doesn't I won't be devastated, but I have a strong feeling he has it. My feelings about BTIKM, NCOE came to fruition even though I secretly didn't want it to happen, this is a positive feeling I have for a change. |
