Adamme I only put music on CDs for the car or CD player. I know almost nothing about music files, etc. My son does a lot for me. I think with Talon's latest post, you can download via mediafire, which is what I normallly do, but didn't have Mediafire links to Version II yesterday, so I had my son do the torrent thing. Just use mediafire and you will wind up with FLAC files. Then I used Traders Little Helper (posted on Atop) to convert FLAC to Wave and then my RealPlayerPlus burned them to 2 CDs. Thank you so much

This probably belongs in the numbers thread, but since you did it first, Q3, I will have to disagree with this. NCOE got crappy radio play! It had about 1/2 the adds that BTIKM got and the only thing that kept it afloat was Boston KISS, Q102, and SIRIUS. It came out in April and barely lasted 2 months. That being said, I think it was the song and not resistance to Adam. I am very optimistic that Cuckoo will get picked up much faster. That's what happens with subsequent singles. Unfortunately, it gets harder for the second single after the first one failed to do well. It gets even harder for single #3. The only artists I can think of who got single #3 to catch on were Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. That's because their record labels where going to MAKE SURE that they had a single that caught on at radio. I'm sorry to say :( that I can't see RCA being successful at doing the same, which has everything to do with how backwards and archaic RCA is and nothing to do with Adam or the quality of his songs!

And thank goodness bamafan is doing all this cause I would have NOTHING without her skillz. *waiting for my CD and DVD of the London Queen shows*

I just can't angst over what may or may not happen next.
Other than providing me with music and musings every day, Adam is an example of how one faces and overcomes obstacles; one who finds a way; and his journey has made me better. If Idol isn't in the cards, I believe he is already into the next project, the next adventure.
Enough worries come my way in 'real life'.
Look at the positives in this man we love! We know how to love him, but do we really know him?
Adam is in love, baby. He sold out venues for one-offs since returning from Europe. Sold out Queen performances - Amazing Queen performances! New Queen-fan respect! Respect from Europeans and fans around the world. #1 song in Brazil - 'By the Rules' Great, artistic album! Great writing! Great music! One of the greatest voices on the face of the Earth. Unmatched stage presence. Exquisite beauty, bone structure, sense of style Blessed with innate clever intelligence . . . Genius emotional intelligence Loving, smart, supportive, witty, kind family Devoted family of close friends Money to pursue his passion - MUSIC Home and privacy Passionate fanbase of support A tour in 2013 - big or small, there will be a tour! Respect . . . from the likes of Elton John, Pharrell, Nile, Justin Timberlake, critics who 'matter', 'celebrities'. . . the list of those who recognize, acknowledge and respect his talent, ethic, honesty is growing . . . Without knowing Adam, I sense he realizes that 'success' is more than money; he sees money as a vehicle and a support for projects and the expansion of his dream; money is not the measure of success nor is it the measure of the man.
If these current dreams of Idol and radio hits don't come true, Adam will still create and perform and prosper. I'll always be there to experience him (maybe even in the front row, now and then); and he will have fame, privacy, and a real world in which to live - just like Sam Sparro, Jake Shears, Nikka Costa, Alisan, Ferras, Terrance, Mario, Sutan, and other amazingly talented people who are recognized by a population other than top 40 listeners and radio programmers.
Between you and me, though, I feel Adam will be iconic - just as Paula Abdul said. It will take awhile. True icons weave their way into history over time.
My short-term wish??? Put Adam on Jeopardy! He'll clean up! Just don't let him into the 'geography' category!

Mys*&@^#r, what did Adam say in the Sacramento interview, and what were the UK tweets? I was at the lake last week and out of the loop. And I agree with the post above, a new single is exciting. But, it needs to be heard or the excitement will be short-lived and replaced with the same old frustrations. eta---no gloomy predictions, but if a single is to be successful there has to be a plan. And if radio isn't an option, then there needs to be something else. Here is the Sacramento interview. A little box pops up on your screen, there is a commercial, then scroll down to Adam Lambert Interview. link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid791221704001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAFqnSZA~,mtHzAXuFGnSyLo3tUshuarE5ax5zOkYW&bclid=1847335599&bctid=1747311130001 The tweets may be harder for me to find, but I'll bet gelly saved them. Maybe we can get them tomorrow when she wakes up. Here're the tweets - On July 24: Sarah H @popledge What what...we are hearing rumours that Adam Lambert has signed on for American Idol!! Re Adam Lambert nothing official yet just rumblings...would make sense though..: ) I'd better not say who told me in case he is wrong..he works for London PR company though for those who asked...so fingers crossed hey! @shadylady_1031 @sroczka79 I'm not saying it is true till AI announce it! Just to clarify our source isn't from Adam's team - I don't want anyone thinking it was an official leak. Keep praying!

I fixed my post to reflect the right Jonas -- but Nick would not be much of a judge either. And he and the JBs were dropped by Hollywood Records. His last release was an EP of show tunes from How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying -- on Broadway Records (indie label). And he is the one that is the jerk. So I sort of had the right one. -- . Joe Jonas is the one who is a jerk. He broke up with Taylor Swift over a "27 second phone call". : Teen drama and angst- LOL! Nick dated Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez for a while. OK it is now coming back to me. I am not a JB fan, clearly. I do not know what Nick would be like as a judge but Joe Jonas was the Idol guest judge on AI9 -- he was not good. (I now know who is who.)
