Ahh...I don't think I will ever be over the Adam/Queen era. It still seems surreal and I am still amazed and thrilled when I even think about it. and- like- emotional Me too. Still can't believe that one of the greatest rock bands in the world hand-picked Adam to stand in for the world's greatest rock vocalist. I can't believe I flew all the way to London to watch a show. And one of my biggest regrets in life is that I only saw one show and not all three. Since I have returned, my interest in Queen has increased greatly (I was a casual fan before and only had one album). I have been doing more and more research on them, i.e. watching YouTubes of documentaries on the band and Freddie himself (DH's and my respect level for them has gone up a lot), watching past performances and comparing with Adam's, lurking on Queen online, and I also started tweeting Brian and the band. And of course I am still watching the Queen+AL videos daily, in particular WWTLF London #3 and Under Pressure Kiev. If they ever play in the US, I will get a second mortgage if I have to in order to attend every show.

This is exactly what I am "feeling"... My Theory: 1) JJ was announced as a "place holder" IMO, not a final one and just to shut everyone up. JJ has two more slots...had she had Queen as the ONLY one - I would not be doubting her announcement.... 2) QUEEN will be performing and it is up to QUEEN to have their band in the top notch shape for the performance, which would mean the best possible front person. 3)Besides, this is a closing ceremony, not the opening, so the whole "British" thing is no longer that important. 4) Adam "spoiled" it for Queen. They experienced him and can't do it with anyone else now... 5) Adam used the word "loophole" in one of the interviews.. 6) Shosh confirmed him being back in UK, albeit without time qualification, but it did come across as "soonish" 7) Makes me feel good to think this way ;D As much as I would like to believe this. It may happen. But then could we actually see it, since NBC cut out a lot of the opening ceremony and was very selective on what they showed in the US. IF this happens -- NBC will show it -- because Adam is American. Don't you know, that is all American's care about. ETA: It is even less likely that Bowie performs at the Olympics than Adam. The last time he performed was in 2006, last tour was in 2004.

Does anyone know if Sauli has ever done gymnastics? He's so flexible and his body type seems perfect for the sport.

Aw, Sauli. Wow. I love that Adam is with a man who seems to be as wise and humble and genuine and grounded as he is himself!
(And that is a big compliment from me, just ask my family, lol.)

Joanna Elizabeth joannalizzy@saulikoskinen1 for FAULTMagazine I have to say that IMO FAULT did a much better job with Sauli than with Adam. They made me appreciate Sauli's looks (normally I don't find his appearance attractive) while they distorted Adam's beauty in all kinds of ways... It was also great to have a little window into Sauli's thoughts - great match! ... made me feel very warm...
