If anyone is interested, I made an mp3 file of Adam's crazy ass laugh at the beginning of Cuckoo at Winstar. It'll make a fun ringtone. www.mediafire.com/?gvrfgyr2pme2yhwWhat a riot! I totally missed that!! :4OMG: :4OMG: :4OMG:

It is apparent to me that most British music critics are veddy snobbish, particularly to American artists, and especially towards someone from an American talent show. Some of the critics even complained that the album had too many songs. Next time, Adam, send them the standard cd, and not the deluxe!
But here in America, we seem to welcome all British artists, and can't give X-factorers enough love! I seem to remember Entertainment Weekly gave Olly Murs an A- for his latest release.
After all the work Shoshanna did, the Brit reviews and the lack of UK airplay is disappointing.

What's interesting to me is that Trespassing only has 10 reviews while Frank Ocean has 41! All glowing. Teenage Dream only has 19. The list of best reviewed has essentially no pop and mostly obscure people imo.
Kelly Clarkson only has 11 reviews of Stronger and the UK one gave her a 20. Q didn't even review.

An out gay pop star? Who the fuck cares, as long as he is banned from the radio, so the kiddos aren't converted.
A kind of gay, maybe bi, rap star? What a revelation, can't heap enough praise on him!

She's American and she is a new artist. I still don't know why the British X-factorers are embraced. I watched Cher Lloyd on America's Got Talent and I thought it was one of the worse performances on TV that I had ever seen.

The band my son plays in, a small-label indie kind of thing, has between 20 and 24 metacritic-counted reviews on each of their albums. I guess a lot of critics do not review many pop albums. Much more hip to review indie, alternative, rap, etc. ... peace&love

I second this cynicism! But I do support Frank Ocean. It's mainstream radio and some elements of the music-industrial complex that I scorn. peace&love
