Am I the only one does not want a tour right now? I want a hit or two, so we'll have more fans and bigger venues!
Don't worry. A trend on Twitter won't make it happen. We're just showing support for Adam and for Trespassing. |

Katy/Adam connection at least includes Ferras. Don't know how any of them met exactly. But here are Katy and Ferras performing his song Rush, which I love. IMO this also highlights vocal weaknesses for Katy LIVE. Q3, I think that the original rumor about Adam judging came out on the web by one of the standard entertainment sites (I don't remember which). They said they were quoting an AI/Fox (?) "insider" who said there was a lot of talk about Adam as a judge. Maybe someone else remembers better. I can't find anything from "Idol" on this rumor. I believe the first report was on E! News who reported that "reps for the glammy singer have been in talks for over a month" for him to join Idol. On July 10th Adam did the Capital FM Radio interview --- one report on that interview addressed the rumors for the first time: Adam released a formal statement on Monday July 9th, reiterating what he said in the Capital Radio interview.: “Idol has an amazing history of introducing great musical talent, and I was very fortunate to have had the Idol stage play a big part in my career,” the statement read. “IF Idol wants to talk to me about judging, I’d be more than flattered to have that conversation.” [/quote] Here is a summary report from CBS News: www.cbsnews.com/8301-31749_162-57469248-10391698/adam-lambert-to-become-american-idol-judge/Nowhere can I find Idol or FOX executives connected to this rumor. And if E! News got it from an Idol "insider", I think they would have said so -- it would have been a bigger scoop. Setting all of that aside -- we have no idea what is going on EXCEPT Adam has been an active part of this and has clearly stated he is interested in the position. My objection was to this line in Kerry Kolach's article: It will be a very bad mistake for American Idol to have thrown Adam Lambert's name into the mix and then to not hire him when he has eagerly stated that he would love the opportunity. Hell hath no fury like a Glambert scorned. American Idol beware! 1. I do not see that "American Idol" has thrown out Adam's name. Happy to be corrected on this one. >> And we know the Dean Piper leak came from Adam's people -- it may have been unintentional but that was the source. 2. MOST IMPORTANT: If Adam does not get a judge chair OR we learn he was never even considered for a slot, I sure hope fans and enough sense not to threaten American Idol. Idol has been great to Adam and it is a useful promotional platform for Adam. Plus, all that negative energy will do no one any good, and no one includes Adam. |

Well, let me just simply quote what Q3 said upthread to summarize my feelings about the 3rd single, 'cuz it certainly beats the hell out of my broken record of blah blah blah....
"I think we have some clues on the third single from FYE history and from RCA exec.
1. The #3 single from FYE was IIHY.
2. RCA and Adam did not release a 4th unsupported US single from FYE even though he did an extensive tour.
3. RCA's head of Marketing said that there would be several singles from Trespassing in May 2012 after the release of NCOE. Several in most dictionaries in more than 3.
4. Adam is way too savy to let RCA release a single without any promo budget to promote it."

Oooh, Atopia looks really different now after I installed the new OS X Mountain Lion, and I'm not sure if I like some of the changes/improvements.....anyone else?
