One thing we have not considered is "Is Ryan Seachrist returning to Idol?" How would Adam be in the Seachrist role?
I don't know how to spell seachrist but I do have an imagination.

Oh!! I know this.  August 12th Cassie's calendar shows a performance in Tokyo on August 15... So an Olympic stop is doable, jetlag notwithstanding. 8-) IDK about this closing ceremony situation. I just looked to see what the format would be and it appears to almost be a hodge podge of performances. Complete with models and Russell Brand. Whoever is performing (Adam or not) I hope they can put this together in some sort of cohesive format. "When the Victory Ceremony comes to a close there is due to be a sudden blackout followed by the opening chords of Bohemian Rhapsody. Also due to be part of the show is a tribute to John Lennon, with footage of the late Beatle talking being screened in the stadium. According to the latest running order, the acts appearing near the finale are Take That, who are due to sing Rule The World, and Queen, who will perform We Will Rock You with Jessie J. The band’s late lead singer Freddie Mercury will appear as a projection. Celebrating the Olympics’ birthplace, the Greek national anthem will be played. Some tickets are still available at prices of £1,500, £995 and £655 for an event which producer Kent Gavin described as ‘the biggest after-show party – the show being the sport’." |

I don't know how to spell seachrist but I do have an imagination. interesting thought! of course he'd be stellar in any role, including host, but it's a bit removed from his music career...I'm sticking with judge. done deal. :D |
