One of my favorite examples of Adam "putting things in motion" and making opportunities for himself was when he became a Fashion Correspondent at the Grammy Awards instead of settling for very little TV face time. I remember thinking he understands the industry and will do what he needs to do to push his career forward. And look, three years later, he is so well known and respected that he is being considered an serious contender for an Idol judge with some huge names in the industry.
