On the possibilty of Adam judging Idol. I don't want this for Adam to make him a big name, rejuvinate his career or some of those things. I want him to be there so people see past the caricature to the real person.
Of course it would only be for Idol watchers but then Idol gets a lot more press than who's on the next season of Glee for example.
To me JLo, Mariah Carey, Rihanna have always been the same person. I knew a bit more about JLo because of movies but Rihanna's the only one I can recognize a song from. JLo was a lot different from what I imagined now that I "know" her but Mariah and Rihanna are still just names.
Of course the person who tends to be in the same caricature as Adam is Gaga. Impression wise on those who see headlines is Gaga is crazy and Adam's impression on the same people is different but not more favorable. I want people to know him, not just hear about him. And knowing about him means more than being a musician or a rock star. JQ public only sees those people on stage, being a character, or very brief appearances on other people's shows. I think Adam is bigger than that, I think he has more gifts than that, and I think that judging is a step in other people realizing those gifts.
I'm somebody who is a bit "meh" on music in general. I watch Idol but it's for the show, not the music. I like Adam's music but it's not what has entertained me for 3+ years. Other people (ie family) don't get why and dang it, they need to. So I'm selfish, I want Adam on Idol so they can't miss the rest of him, besides just his voice.

I have had to stop today and just realize that we have real authentic super stars as in BM commenting on essay's on our forum. How fantastic is that? I am amazed at this global community more and more every day! To think just three years ago I was living this quiet little life and then Adam happened and I'm talking to people all around the world. Enjoying music more than I ever did, although it is my passion, I now enjoy it with so many other fans. This place and it members are absolutely fantastic!
