Well...I'm taking the leap and posting for the first time! I met so many amazing people who post here in London for Queen/Adam that I was inspired. First of all I want to say how amazing NoAngel's essay was. I really identified with her words and emotions. In fact, for me, what was most unexpected about the Queenbert shows is how much I enjoyed Roger and Brian's interlude. It took me by surprise, as I didn't expect the connectedness, sense of hope and nostalgia that hit me listening to the two of them. I'll never forget looking over at another fan with tears in both of our eyes when Brian sang Love of My Life. Anyways, hope to hang with y'all a little bit more. Hey bb !!! So great to meet you in London! Glad you're poking your head in here on ATOP! {{ hugs}}

ISLANDGIRLJAMS.....NOANGEL CONGRATULATIONS!!! I was mentioning to my son yesterday that I really usually skip the Brian and Roger solos when listening to the Adam/Queen concerts but I just can't skip Those Were The Days Of Our Lives...it just gets inside my heart when I listen to it. It brings back memories at the same time it reminds me Time stops for no one so seize the day now. Q3 your Idol thoughts were great. I have mixed feeling about Adam being a judge. I know he wants it..so I want it for him but I never have been a big fan of the show and only watched Adam's year...never before or after. So if he does get it I'll have to watch the show again and I'm not excited about that.

NoAngel has said on twitter that it was NOT Brian who tweeted her but his webmistress. There is no way to know exactly who is doing the tweeting so what makes you so sure it was Brian tweeting about the Olympics? I'm not sure, thats why I asked the question! [grins] Either way, its a wonderful, wonderful interaction, and I appreciate that folk in Brian May's corner (and possibly Brian himself) appreciate the heartfelt sentiment in NoAngel's essay. :D

Wow, and here I thought the best part of my day was sitting on a fog-enshrouded beach and reading a good book... First, thank you all so much for your comments about my essay. I had actually started it on the plane going home from London, but it took me a while to get it sort of right. I'm so happy it resonated for people :wub: Anyway, Talon is absolutely right-- the @brianmaycom twitter isn't Brian, at least it wasn't him who tweeted to me. After I got home and freaked out wondering why I had a zillion replies on twitter, I saw that this "person" had linked to Atop. So I thanked the person, and then a little while later got a DM: Hi - your essay? That was great. Enjoyable read. May we reprint on Brianmay.com plse?The account wasn't following me, so I tweeted that of course I'd be honored to have my essay posted on the site, and then got another DM: Thanks - that's very kind. Your essay gives a good perspective of the shows. Puts into context.By this time the account was following me so I DM'd my thanks and asked who it was who tweeted from the account. This was the answer: Brian's Webmistress, Jen. Very pleased to meet a new fan.Needless to say, this was a very exciting day for me! :2tears: :2tears: :2tears: And the best part is sharing it with friends here and on Twitter. Thank you!

Does anyone have a YouTube or any video link of Adam's Hollywood Week -The Chairs?
It's the episode when the Top 36 were chosen, before he sang Satisfaction.
Thanks, in advance.
