Gelly14 -- I agree!! It would be great to see a few more new adds in the US. I saw the post about the Buffalo KISS station, but we are about to get a new single very soon so this seems like it is too late to help the song when a new one is about to come on board. I know nothing about radio except what I picked up following Adam, but I imagine anytime he is on the air, it is good. I hope that if the new single gets radio spins, the stations spinning will spin more or less during the same time frame to help it move up the charts. Any airplay for tracks from Adam's current album is good -- whether it is NCOE or BTIKM. And NCOE will be the current single for a few more weeks -- probably sometime in September. Where NCOE was notable weak is sales -- and sales are 50% of the Billboard Hot 100 composite score. Without sales, it is impossible for a song with some radio support to chart. But the fact that NCOE never made the Billboard Digital Sales Chart -- even with Adam's great Idol performance -- leads me to believe that the song just did not connect with music buyers. I still think NCOE was a decent pick by RCA, and they did a good job promoting it. Perhaps the date was opened pending Olympics final decision - sadzz...  . (I even went as far as checking the flights from Tokyo to LN to make it to the ceremony :-[ but it wold not work - unless we are talking private jet and that would be inhuman anyway...) - please do not judge.... :redface: :redface: :redface: Also, if he is to be in Japan for extra three-four days there must be some program of promos or meetings scheduled...I mean three days of shopping would be too much, wouldn't it?  |

I know we all want hits, but we must remember most of these artists didn't have hits instantly, they built their careers in time. Now whatever they put out their fans just eat it up! Adam will get there too. I'm here for the long haul! Now for the other pop stuff we have to endure that makes #1, I have no explanation! :dunno:

DID ANYONE EVEN SEE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's to hoping for more stations to jump!!  I have no idea what it means other than it shows that there is one more Top 40 station that will spin Adam's singles. And for any new singles, that is a very good thing! BTW, this station had not added before and was not spinning when it first came out. Maybe someone there noticed the Dance Chart Top 10 placement? Who knows?! |

Most of you are powerful writers. My daughter has a sociology class, where she must write an essay on waking up as a man. She has to use what she learned in the soc gender class on how her future might now unfold and how her past has or has not prepared her for this new future.
She needs an introductory paragraph. She is struggling. Anyone willing to try? I'm struggling with it also. Her main portion is working well, as she is discussing gender, sexuality, feminity and masculinity, language and communiction, education and family.
Any help would be appreciated. PM me

Did BTIKM do better in sales than NCOE? Of course, BTIKM had a big advantage because it dropped way before the album came out and thus many of his core fans bought it. By the time NCOE dropped, people could get it when they purchased the album. Since I am a fan, I like both songs and I am very surprised that they didn't fare better. The new single will undoubtedly be an Adam cowrite, so it should really have his unique stamp on it. I am hoping that will help.

What a beautiful thread today. Thanks to all of you who made it that way.
The only uncool thing was that photo from Adam's private FB account. I hope he can see who shared it and block that person, or whatever it's called on FB.
