Okay, Queen experts...what is the name of the album that has love of my life on it? As noted one post later...the original love of my life is on a night at the opera. That one is a bit different as it is full instrumentation including piano, harp, and Brian on the Red Special . Any of the live albums - Live Killers, On Fire At The Bowl, Rock Montreal, or Live At Wembley have the type of version you heard during the QAL shows... I like Live Killers and Montreal versions best No Angel - nice essay. Just to point out that I honestly think most of the Queen died with Freddie thing would go all away if Brian and Roger either chose a new name or just went out as May/Taylor + Adam Lambert. Using the name Queen really is more if the sticking point because it can't be Queen without Freddie and John. That's what Queen signifies to that vocal minority. Myself. I know it's just good business sense and rational thought. I k is I'm not really seeing Queen...but it's as close as I can come Thanks Talon. I will try the ones you suggest.

Hi everyone!! Sorry I've been away so long. With the album release and preparations for my big trip, etc. I got to a point where I just couldn't keep up with the threads. I had a wonderful time meeting (and reuniting) with soooo many people at the Atop party. It was a blast. I had such a wonderful time hanging with noangel in London. I will always treasure the memories and I miss our breakfasts. Tea at Harrod's with aloha also a highlight. Also had a great time hanging with Gelly, Schufly, Silverblue, Hoppers and rjacks and many others from Twitter, etc. (alinsst/dietcoke, funknnsoul, etc.) The one show I saw (July 11) was so incredibly special to me. It was without a doubt the highlight of my trip (sorry, 5,000-year-old Egyptian pyramids, you're pretty impressive too, but not nearly as electrifying as Adam, Brian and Roger on stage – was seriously one of the most fun, emotionally moving concerts I've ever been to). After standing, sitting, hunkering under umbrellas with aloha, noangel, gelly and her beautiful daughter, we squeezed in with schfuly, silverblue, dietcoke and carttash to see the show. It was extremely hot and sticky at times and my feet never hurt so badly, but every minute was amazing!!! Right after, Melisende and I headed to the airport for our cruise adventure. (The things we do for Adam ... because we missed the first couple days of the cruise to go to the concert, we needed to join the ship in Kusadasi, Turkey, which involved a plane to Istanbul, another plane to Izmir and an hour shuttle ride to Kusadasi.) We made it though. And after that, two days in Israel and two days in Egypt (the craziest Adam roller coaster ever has nothing on the thrills and chills of Cairo traffic, btw ...), Croatia and Venice – it was a wonderful trip and we used our limited Internet access to peek in on the other shows. I'll have to go back and read the threads. Missed everyone!!! Most know you can always flag me down on Twitter. I can usually see any @ replies or DMs the second they pop up. I will try to keep up with the threads more diligently. I'm very excited for what's to come!!!

I saw the post about the Buffalo KISS station, but we are about to get a new single very soon so this seems like it is too late to help the song when a new one is about to come on board. I know nothing about radio except what I picked up following Adam, but I imagine anytime he is on the air, it is good. I hope that if the new single gets radio spins, the stations spinning will spin more or less during the same time frame to help it move up the charts.

Gelly14 -- I agree!! It would be great to see a few more new adds in the US. Any airplay for tracks from Adam's current album is good -- whether it is NCOE or BTIKM. And NCOE will be the current single for a few more weeks -- probably sometime in September. So it is the song to request. >> The Adam Lambert track getting the most airplay in the US is WWFM -- with about 1150 spins a week. >> It is a very good sign for the next single that NCOE is still getting airplay. But the airplay is dropping and it is time for a new single. It fell below 1,000 spins in June. NCOE did not make the main chart but it did impact Hot AC Radio and Club Play. Both important to Adam. >> NCOE charted on one radio chart -- It was the Hot Shot Debut at No. 35 on the Adult Pop chart. (June 4, 2012) Read more at www.billboard.com/column/chartbeat#BYRiKOmVsKXQhIv4.99>> It also chart on the US Hot Dance Club Songs (Billboard) coming in at #14. Where NCOE was notable weak is sales -- and sales are 50% of the Billboard Hot 100 composite score. Without sales, it is impossible for a song with some radio support to chart. But the fact that NCOE never made the Billboard Digital Sales Chart -- even with Adam's great Idol performance -- leads me to believe that the song just did not connect with music buyers. I still think NCOE was a decent pick by RCA, and they did a good job promoting it. Sometimes songs do not meet expectations and this one did not meet mine. >> As a Monday-morning Q-back, I think NCOE and BTIKM (and IIHY to some extent) are examples of songs that are generic pop songs vs. songs that fit Adam. They are the two tracks that I skip on Trespassing. I hope that RCA has learned from this and picks an Adam track for his next single. >> WWFM was not written by or for Adam but the message and composition was perfect for him. Back in 2009 Rob Cavallo said Adam could only sign a song he connected with --- IMO he was right.

Looking back over the first half of 2012, I think we have to agree that the crazy train has been on a roll. Here are just a few highlights of Adam’s year so far: more...
