Wow! Phillps marketing is incredible!! From MJ's It’s viral people it’s crazy! Phillip Phililp’s “Home” is not only the Women’s Gymanastic’s Olympic theme song, but it’s featured in the trailer for the new Clint Eastwood movie Trouble With The Curve.Yes, it seems clear that UMG has a whole different agressive promo plan for their artists!

I have a feeling, though, that the huge success Home had as the gymnastic theme has opened a whole lot of doors for the song. I wonder how many people are surprised when they discover it isn't Mumford and Sons?
How does something like the Olympics happen? Is this the label's work? Management? Or did someone connected with US gymnastics make it happen?

I still haven't noticed the thing...I did watch gymnastics every night...i guess no sounds rather than AFL's voice penetrate my conciseness... I don't know what makes the placement happen, but I am quite sure it is a business deal, and not just someone's whim... The guy is the current AI winner - makes it easy to promote IMO... now, if I only knew how it sounds ???

From last week: Audiobrain will provide music supervision services, music system design and management to NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, during its coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games, July 27 – August 12, 2012: tech.rambergmedia.com/audiobrain-to-provide-full-music-resources-for-nbc-olympics-coverage-of-the-london-2012-olympic-games/This will be the sixth Olympics collaboration with NBC Olympics for Audiobrain, which received an Emmy award for their work on the NBC’s Beijing broadcast. Repeated exposure on commercials or TV broadcasts is a viable marketing tool that record companies use to push artists and their songs. If most TV viewers didn't pay attention to the music, there would be no reason to try and get new songs on TV broadcasts. The fact that many viewers DO pay attention to songs used in various ways on TV is a fact. That's why PLL is a good promo move for Adam. That's why we all wish that Adam could get one of his songs on a Ford commercial, on a Super Bowl commercial, on SYTYCD or on the Olympic broadcast. We wouldn't wish for these things if they didn't provide an excellent opportunity for non-fans to hear Adam's music. You may not notice the music that plays in the background of TV shows and commercials, but many, many viewers obviously do!

I somehow don't hear anything else...I have no idea by what kind of magic Adam broke thru... it is quite amazing actually ;D...his voice is up there with the greatest opera singers of the world...
