OT, but the thread is slow and it would be label news...Does anyone think KA has been dropped by RCA? He has absolutely nothing going on apart from an interview with Lyndsey Parker coming up. I kind of wonder if he might be using her interview to break the news.

So glad you mentioned this bullsfan as I was wondering the exact same thing.
I read on another forum that KA has indeed been dropped and it was up to him how and when he wanted to "officially" announce it.
I was thinking as well that he might choose this particular interview to do it. Do we have any idea when this interview is supposed to take place or when it might be published?

Pretty sure the interview already happened a few days ago. Not sure when Lyndsey will publish it. Also want to add that if he has been dropped, I think it will be a good thing for him. I don't think he wants the big career that others want and a smaller indie label will be fine. I think he likes playing small clubs and staying out of LA.  |

Don't know much about KA but that sounds like a pretty good set-up for a modest guy.

On a happier note, my sister-in-law just texted me from an AMC (she & her hubby went to see the new Sylvester movie) that they're playing both NCOE & BTIKM, and promoting the new album, too!
Radio here has never played any of his new songs, but I've been hearing them at various locations: retail chain stores, restaurants & shops, now AMC, and...he's finally back on radio after several months of "black-out" (albeit not his new songs but WWFM). I'm starting to feel the wheels are turning, yes, something is definitely up!
