So then, the problem really isn't Adam. The problem is that certain fans don't like Brian and Roger calling themselves "Queen." Because, clearly they are touting it as Queen (Brian and Roger) WITH Adam Lambert. Lol, maybe some of these fans would like Brian and Roger to come up with a different name and sell themselves as a Queen cover band. Again, I get Queen fans not liking a new frontman, but to have a problem with Brian and Roger calling themselves Queen is crazy.

I know nothing. About Idol judge selection. About Queen prospects. About Trespassing tour. It seems to me that doing Idol takes about 5 hours a day, two days a week. That leaves five days a week open. Fly out one day. Sound check and shopping in a new city the next day. Queen gig in a huge ass venue for mega bucks the third day. Fly home the fourth day. Stay in bed with Sauli the fifth day. And repeat. Seems doable to me.

On the other hand there is the other vocal minority that don't mind the name necessarily but don't like the idea of an AI singer fronting the band - i.e. he's not worthy compared to PR who they could accept as someone with a similar legacy. Again don't shoot the messenger  Just relaying the thought process |

I get the whole idea of some Queen fans hating seeing Adam front the band. I am a HUGE REM fan, and I don't know that I would ever accept anyone but Michael Stipe fronting that band. But, if something ever happened to Stipe, I would still consider MIke Mills and Peter Buck to be REM. I just don't get the whole name issue---but then, that's not Adam's problem since he has never claimed to be joining the band.
Hi maddie---I have a daughter starting KIndergarten this year, too!
