So then, the problem really isn't Adam. The problem is that certain fans don't like Brian and Roger calling themselves "Queen." Because, clearly they are touting it as Queen (Brian and Roger) WITH Adam Lambert. Lol, maybe some of these fans would like Brian and Roger to come up with a different name and sell themselves as a Queen cover band. Again, I get Queen fans not liking a new frontman, but to have a problem with Brian and Roger calling themselves Queen is crazy. The only way these particular Queen fans will ever be happy is if Freddie came back and fronted the band, and since that ain't never gonna happen, they will never be happy. In the meantime, they are totally disrespecting Brian and Roger. Just wish they would quit projecting their vitriol on Brian and Roger and whoever fronts the band and go sit in a corner somewhere quietly and suck their thumbs. All these years later, they are still at it. They make me tired. :-/ |

To some it would be like Adam Lambert's backing band taking James Durbin going out as "The Adam Lambert Band" with James singing Adam's songs. Ok so not QUITE the same but that's as close as I could come to what they are feeling... I wonder if B&R know they are a "backing band"... ;D Exactly!! Not quite the same!! :4OMG: |

On the other hand there is the other vocal minority that don't mind the name necessarily but don't like the idea of an AI singer fronting the band - i.e. he's not worthy compared to PR who they could accept as someone with a similar legacy. Again don't shoot the messenger  Just relaying the thought process "Vocal minority" is the key - thank you! So, we have about 10-ish folks around the world feeling one way and another 10-ish feeling another way and so on... WHO TF CARES??? As long as those shows sell tickets and the parties involved have the will to perform ... The purists can listen to the recordings if they wish, we can listen to AFL, others can go to see the QE with impersonators galore and yet others can ignore the whole thing all together., B&R can perform the stuff they love, BB can have the time of his life singing with the legends, and someone(s) is/are making $s as well.... in the end - everyone is happy, even the complaining ones - cause they have a reason to be miserable ... oh, and we can talk ourselves silly here arguing unarguable points with non-listening opponents... ;D see... FUN ALL AROUND :4OMG: |

I was at the London Queen + AL concerts and they were filled with happy Queen fans. IMO most of the "Queen fans" who do not approve of AL singing with them did not see it live and never saw Freddie live. I was lucky and got to see Queen with Freddie live several times. I am lucky that I got to seen Queen + AL. All were great concerts. No comparison is needed.

Hi guys. Ive just come back from quite tiring shift at work so I didnt have a chance to read all the news but I can tell you, Adam is a very strong motivation to earn money....
Btw Id like you to tell me what do you think of my English. And please, dont glamorize the reality. I know this question is totally self-centric and OT but imho it could help me very much to know the truth from the mouths of native speakers. Thanks.
