Watched E News and N. JONAS was on with the hope for Idol judgeship,he said he was being considered.A commentator said that lots of folks tweeted into the show to say that NJ was not a big enough draw to make them tune into AI. OUCH. I guess Pharell might have gotten one spot..?? The CNN Entertainment reporter this morning actually made fun of him for Tweet this. Actually said something about "if anybody cares....". I do not think anything is clear on Idol judges except that they are talking to more than one country star. And although I am a Pharrell fan, I think he was pretty low-key on X-Factor: www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8mJ-IwyE5QETA: It would be close to impossible for Adam to tour profitably and be an Idol judge at the same time. He needs to perform 5 nights a week to keep a tour profitable. If he is a judge, he might do some casino shows or festival concerts but not a tour.

I have been pondering the IA gig again, and think chances are very, very slim. The main hint that kept my hopes up was that Adam said in OK that he was coming back to that part of the country. A "soon" was a logical inference, and since OK is not a major entertainment hub, Idol seemed a good bet. Now I wonder if this cryptic hint could be Queen related.

Since Brian May has an academic job which will require his attention in the Fall/Winter/Spring I don't see how QAL could tour world-wide during Idol. Maybe a few shows during the Christmas break and then touring next summer. If Adam does not get the Idol Judging gig, then he could tour Trespassing in the Winter/Spring, tour with Queen in the summer, and then do more Trespassing touring in the Fall. I dunno. Sometimes academic jobs have a lot of flexibility. Not familiar with the British academic schedule but there are usually enough openings to get away for four or five days here and there

If Pharrell got a spot on the Idol panel, I'd bet he'd champion Adam over Nick Jonas! I don't think any other judges besides Mariah have been announced yet though, have they?

Lots of buzz in Nashville that there will be a country judge. That seems likely if they can get someone big to do it. I agree the odds on Adam getting an Idol judge seat are slim. I think the odds of a big Queen + Adam tour are slimmer. But just my opinion. I have crossed Nick Jonas off my list since with multiple tweets he could not get #NickonIdol to trend, and the press/media has pretty much mocked this idea. Nick is <<<<<<<<<<<< Demi. Just saying. On other fronts, Sharon Osborne quit AGT. NBC is trying to get her back. So there is another big judge slot opened. And maybe Idol will sign her -- I would love to see Mariah and Sharon!!

Hi guys. Ive just come back from quite tiring shift at work so I didnt have a chance to read all the news but I can tell you, Adam is a very strong motivation to earn money.... Btw Id like you to tell me what do you think of my English. And please, dont glamorize the reality. I know this question is totally self-centric and OT but imho it could help me very much to know the truth from the mouths of native speakers. Thanks. Your English is excellent. The only things I notice are: 1. Occasionally you miss the punctuation in contractions --- didn't vs. didnt for example. The ' stands for the missing "o". 2. And sometimes you do not understand an American cultural reference. (But I miss some of those too! Everyone does.) Now I am not one to judge spelling!! I will leave that to others. ETA: North Americans live in a bit of isolation. We have a lot of diversity but it is within our countries/culture. So we are not always conscience that something in done or said only in America. Also "Adam IS a very strong motivation" should be "Adam HAS a very strong motivation".

Casino shows or festival concerts are totally better than performing 5 nights a week. Better money, less straining on his voice. In a perfect world I'd like to see him twice a week on my TV and attend on-off concerts a few times ;D
