Your English is excellent. The only things I notice are: 1. Occasionally you miss the punctuation in contractions --- didn't vs. didnt for example. The ' stands for the missing "o". 2. And sometimes you do not understand an American cultural reference. (But I miss some of those too! Everyone does.) Now I am not one to judge spelling!! I will leave that to others. ETA: North Americans live in a bit of isolation. We have a lot of diversity but it is within our countries/culture. So we are not always conscience that something in done or said only in America. Also "Adam IS a very strong motivation" should be "Adam HAS a very strong motivation". I think she has it correct. Adam is her motivation to earn money, not that Adam has a motivation to earn money. Of course my American English is Texacan!

I have been pondering the IA gig again, and think chances are very, very slim. The main hint that kept my hopes up was that Adam said in OK that he was coming back to that part of the country. A "soon" was a logical inference, and since OK is not a major entertainment hub, Idol seemed a good bet. Now I wonder if this cryptic hint could be Queen related. He could be booked for Texas state fair. Location is super close to winstar. #justsayin'

The WinStar is only an hour north of Dallas and many of the people at the concert were from the Dallas area. So maybe "this part of the country" is more about Dallas. Or, there are other casinos not too far away, for example, the one in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. And there are lots of fairs in the fall, so it could be anywhere in the south-east or mid-west.

If Pharrell got a spot on the Idol panel, I'd bet he'd champion Adam over Nick Jonas! I don't think any other judges besides Mariah have been announced yet though, have they? Ok. I realized I'm hogging the thread. But one more question. Is Pharell really a household name? (Foreigner here

No, I believe AME was correct. it should be "Adam IS a very strong motivation" -- because she was referring to working to earn money to be a fan not referring to Adam's motivation. It might be clearer to have written, "Hi guys. Ive just come back from quite tiring shift at work so I didnt have a chance to read all the news but I can tell you, Adam is a very strong MOTIVATOR to earn money...." Or simply to say, ".....but Adam motivates me to work so that I can afford to be a fan." This is a sentiment that I understand completely.

(Foreigner here Not a household name but well know in rap and urban music, and he has credibility in the music business and with the press. Two of the original Idol judges were less well known in the US -- Simon and Randy and Paula had not had a hit for a long time.

Can I request that all of Catzmadam's stories be put together somewhere so that they are never lost or hard to find! The photos are just beautiful! I second the motion, in fact I've heard it rumored the Travel Channel has been in contact with her and she may be flying to LA Cute! I don't want anyone to think that I want them moved from The News! No way! They are like little gems when they pop up in the news thread! I want them in 2 places! Here and another thread where they are all together, in sequence! #Entitledfan

Just Mariah. Lots of buzz in Nashville that there will be a country judge. That seems likely if they can get someone big to do it. I agree the odds on Adam getting an Idol judge seat are slim. I think the odds of a big Queen + Adam tour are slimmer. But just my opinion. I have crossed Nick Jonas off my list since with multiple tweets he could not get #NickonIdol to trend, and the press/media has pretty much mocked this idea. Nick is <<<<<<<<<<<< Demi. Just saying. On other fronts, Sharon Osborne quit AGT. NBC is trying to get her back. So there is another big judge slot opened. And maybe Idol will sign her -- I would love to see Mariah and Sharon!!
IMO, a big Queen/AL tour in terms of dates is totally unrealistic for both parties, instead Spike might be referring to the size of venues and the major int'l stops: Tokyo, Sydney, Berlin, New York...etc.
Ooooh, I'd pay to see Mariah and Sharon together on that panel, really! NO JOKE! where's my popcorn? ;D
